Tip: plugging usb hubs to the Chroma can cause stuttering and other issues such as the usb hub not working properly. Use the chromas own ports or your computers ports. Also remember that NOT all usb4 ports in computers are compatible, so the Chroma will not work on all usb4 connections. Do your research on the usb4 port technology. Note: I have attached the Chroma to Lenovo Legion Go hand held Windows 11 pc which has 2 x usb4 ports. Works with an rtx 4070. Performance is great, only about 15 percent loss in performance versus a table top PC.

The Razer Core X Chroma is officially designed to work on Windows and macOS. We are sorry but we cannot guarantee it will work on Linux OS as intended. Razer has not acknowledged how to connect 3000s gpu or Radeon RX 6000s to the egpu since the razer core X Chrome does not supply the 3x8 pin connection. Also is it possible to remove the battery and upgrade it to a recommended battery to be compatible for the egpu

My laptop is razer blade 15(2018) and im using razer core x with rtx 3050 . why does it lag when playing the game?

I did everything like described. But when i connect it to via usb 4 slot on my mainboard (ASUS Prime Z790-P WIFI) the fans of my eGPU are running like crazy but the GPU does not show up. I can see that the Core X is connected (in my device manager). But it like said, GPU won't show up. All latest GPU drivers are installed. All Win 11 Updates are installed. Using the original TB3 cable wich comes with the Core X. I had the same issue with my Laptop and the Core X there I needed to allow Win 10 to alway connect this Thunderbolt device. But Win 11 does not give me such prompt. Deos it work with a USB 4 connection? Or ist Thunderbolt 3 special in this case? What else could be the problem?

Not work with my Mac Mini 2012 i7 + Shaphire RX 590. THB3->1/2 original convertor used. In settings it show AMD RX 590 driver is not installed. Waste of money. Support never response.

Hi. I have an issue connecting my Asus tuf gaming app with razer core x .. with rtx 2070 super msi gaming x in it. The laptop recodnise that core x but no recognition of any gpu... is it possible because the laptop is with USB type c 3.2 not thunderbolt ? Any suggestions?

Can I conect my laptom with 2 cable Thunderbolt3 to Chroma for more efficiency eGPU system? First cable: Thunderbolt port#1 in laptop -> Thunderbolt port in Chroma.
