I unplugged my hdmi in my gpu and plugged it back in already had 470.05 went from 26mh to 49 lmao just in case you have the same problem unplug then plug it back in

If you are going to add more than one RTX 3060, check the max # of PCI Express Lanes present in the processor. Your motherboard may have 3-4 PCI-e X8/X16, but if you won't add a CPU with the required number of PCI Express Lanes, then you will not get the full potential of 3060. Or look for a motherboard if it has a PLX chip, which can provide bandwidth to the GPU.

hello, I have an asus prime z390 a, intel gold g5420 cpu, one 8gb of ram and 1tb hdd with a power power supply of 750w (drivers 470.5 installed, and dummy connected, all pcie speed in gen3 and 4g enable) but I can't get the 2 3060 to work. The pcie1x16 doesn´t run x16, goes x4, but in the pcie2 it works x8 that is enough. Do I have to enable something in the bios? Or maybe my cpu is insufficient? But it has 16 lines of bus, i don’t know where is the problem. Could you help me ? Thank you

Great video! I’ve got a question tho, i have the ROG STRIX gaming Oc 12g, everyone that has one brings the memory clock up +1500, but if i don’t change anythong and only the memory clock it crashes my PC immediately. I know all cards are a little different in terms of OC, so does this mean i won’t be capable of putting it that high ever? Just a little confused as to why everyone can turn up the memory clock but i can’t. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can't use riser as it isn't x16 you have to use a ribbon connector

bought 2 months ago this card for mining asus tuf 3060 12gb rev error code 43 setup settings for mining 24 hours optimal, no high temps yesterday my compurer was frozen, shutdown from psu my gpu and when windows started it was in 8 bits colors gpu is not recognized things i did 1. ddu, nothing 2. another motherboard, same 3. reinstall another windows version nothing i dont see any signal of physical damage, ir was mining with my 1060 my 1060 is safe in another computer, is 1 gpu per motherboard i dont know what else to do i bought the more expensive to be safe from this kind of things any suggestion? i have read today that there is a rev 2, mine, is rev 1

You can't have both nvidia drivers installed. You can use the dev drivers for all the nvidia cards.

Look like display port is fine but you need to use the monitor sleep mode if you want 100% speed... Cant just close the monitor its going back to 24mhs...when on sleep i average a good 46.9mhs - 47mhs on excavator at +960mem and - 502core clock 80%pwr limit 80%fan speed on my 3060 asus tuf 12gb

Hi. I have one 3060 from Msi Ventus 3x. Regarding the HDMI. I have a display port instead of HDMI. Should I switch? Or I can stay with display port. Also. Does it matter in what display port slot from the gpu to use? Also when i use your settings. +1500 memory. I get error about cuda cores illegal stuff... Driver Is 470.05

It should still work with the display port and it doesn't matter what port you put it in. For the Overclocks, its silicon lottery, lower your memory.

I’m following all the steps but I can’t get anything over 26.3, there is no change with the riser or this method. I plug a dummy, It’s showing the driver on the msi afterburer, I try without the dummy, also connecting the monitor to the gpu but no change. My gpu is EVGA 3060 12gb, I appreciate any help, thanks!

@@Marine-wc5dx yes, I did. I tried to install without the gpu and then installed the gpu. The driver wasn't recognized that way either. Wrong version of gpu I believe. Simply not compatible with this driver.

Had a question for you. If I was to place a 3060 into an external GPU case (as far as I can tell this is a full x16 slot) and then attach it to a computer or laptop via thunderbolt, would this work to get the full potential out of the card?
