Homeschooling Torah | Today we’re going to discussing how to show respect to your husband. (This is Part 3 of our "Parenting Series for Mothers Only," and it's also a continuation of yesterday's discussion on "what to do when your husband is wrong.") You can see links to other videos in this series, as well as all the Scripture mentioned, by visiting our website at homeschoolingtorah.com/how-to-....

This is beautiful and it is God's way and His way always works if you stay with it. Of course the husband has his part as well and that is to love his wife as Christ loves the Church. But don't dwell on your spouses part. Just be sure to do yours and God will take care of your spouse.

I just found your channel and I was truly blessed!!! This has been heavy on my heart lately about being a Godly wife and mother and honoring God through my marriage as a way to help win my husband to the Lord. You are truly blessed with a phenomenal gift of teaching and I felt such peace and joy as you compared and cross referenced scripture and languages and meanings. Your video was under 15 minutes and to me that is not a long video my goodness lol. I would gladly listen to a 30 minute or even a 1 hour teaching so please don't let any negative comments burden you. I just don't understand people sometimes. May the Lord richly bless you and your family. Shalom.

Long story short Naomi followed her husband to Moab it cost her her husband and 2 sons to obey and go with him but gained a daughter and God's favor. No one said it would be easy. That's exactly why women are commanded to revear their husbands because we have difficulty with that v.s. men who are commanded to love their wives. Thank you for making this video. I just found it but I'm glad that it's here.

While there are quite a few bitches out there, not all of us are heathens because we don't 'submit to the make species.' I respect my boyfriend as best I can, he does the same, and we have a happy and healthy relationship. We both make decisions. No 'submission needed.'

Thank you so much sister for sharing the truth of The Fathers beautiful design for His children!! I LOVE that when we're fearful that our husbands are wrong in a decision that may cause harm to the family we can always pray over his head to The Father and request that if we are right that He would change our husbands mind in that situation! Thank you so much for this teaching. It was exactly what I needed. Growing up without a father I never learned respect towards a man. I respected my mother almost always but taking that and translating it towards a man, especially one whom has only recently begun back on the right path, that's different. What are your thoughts, views and attitudes towards headcoverings? I see you wear one and have been debating that for years in my head. Thank you. Victoria

Very insensitive sir. Especially being that she said she will keep watching and hoping... let’s acknowledge her desire to keep at this. It’s so very easy to judge just how much pain she has to overcome in order to follow these teachings isn’t it? Let’s have some understanding because women go through so much introspection within the relationships wondering what can we do...what can we say...or change to make things better. Sometimes years of this!! But with same actions of Husband sometimes. We are all listening to this to keep seeking change. Let’s lift her up :-)

@kiera6326
@kiera6326 5 жыл бұрын
@VAIO294+ No, she doesn't. Respect goes both ways. If one person receives more respect than what they give the other, then the relationship is unhealthy. It's the same with things like trust and love. Feelings have to mutual.
@kiera6326
@kiera6326 5 жыл бұрын
@VAIO294+ The bible was written at a time when women were seen as good for nothing except carrying babies. It's standards should not apply to real life. If someone respects another more than they respect them, then the relationship is unhealthy, and liable to manipulation. Why should women submit? Submit to what? What gives men the authority to be above her in a social hierarchy? Couples need to learn to discuss things, not blindly follow/take control...
@kiera6326
@kiera6326 5 жыл бұрын
@VAIO294+ So, what you're saying is, that if a woman does not kneel before you then she is unworthy and unlovable! Ha! Some god you have... Also, marriage has been around since before the bible was written. Tribes used it as ceremonies to pick mates back in old ages, long before Christianity came into the picture...

I struggle with this teaching because my husband often treats me treacherously, has cheated on me multiple times, and can be down right evil toward me. Obeying him could sometimes mean that I'm not obeying Yahuah.. I married him when I was an unbeliever, he is still an unbeliever. I try to be chaste and loving, but I struggle with that when I feel abused. 😞

This is so hard! I think in an ideal world, you could go to your local church and get help, even justice and protection. I don't know if we live in that ideal world, and I think that's why the Father allowed for divorce, even though He says He hates it and it's not His original plan. He also doesn't approve of harm to women. If you have a local congregation, preferably one that is walking according to all of God's Word (including the Torah), I would go to them for help. Meanwhile, here is a blog series by my dear friend Christine Miller, if your heart's desire is to stay in your marriage and see God turn things around. I'm not saying that's your only option, but this can help if that's the choice you'd like to make: www.alittleperspective.com/praying-the-right-prayer-for-our-marriage/

You can only give what you have. Build an altar and pray for him and after you've daily won the victory in prayer walk in the Spirit in the daily affairs with him. God will handle his disobedience if he doesn't repent for not loving you as Christ loved the church. Nevertheless your command from the Lord is without stipulations as well so continue to be humble and subject to him in all things as unto the lord.

judge judge thinking for...never allow to have the husband deliver reverence to you...sad thing is you doubt yourself...always doubting...phobia..you think or analyse the word phobia when thinking about a husband....can't wrap your head around it...you definately fear giving devotion....a woman can tear a man apart with doubt...never getting devtion because cannot give exactly what you are questioning....faith..devtion....you live in fear....the man's fear is why give your love to a woman that does not trust you.....how much is enough for proof???????

respect for the spouse goes both ways and it is the very same respect. man should respect his wife just as much as the wife respects her husband. the same way. The Bible says the husband is supposed to submit and obey his wife just as much as the wife should submit and obey her husband. the husband is supposed to put his wife first. he is supposed to DIE to himself for the sake of his wife. of course God is always first. for the husband and for the wife. there is no question about that. but in case of the husband he should put his wife first. befire himself. the Bible says that the woman is man's helper. that the very same word "helper" was used in refference to God Himself. God is our (people's) Helper. the very word HELPER means in that case that "a stronger one is helping the waker one" - the woman helps as the stronger one to the weaker one. this is what hebrew language conveys. eph 5;21 says KJV: "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." this verse is very simple to understand. in eph 5;25 we read "Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her" - it is a very easy verse to understand. it says that the husband is supposed to die for his wife. as Christ died for His Bride the Church. Lord Yeshu died on the cross with a lot of pain and suffering and agony in order to serve His Bride, to save her, to make her His Bride. the same way the husband is supposed to die to himself (his well being, his benefits, his pleasures,) and always put his wife's needs, calling, well-being, advantage, progress, happiness before him. men think that they are supposed to love their wives as they please.... no. no, no, no, no...nothing like that...1 cor 13:4-8 shows HOW they are supposed to love their wives: "Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. " and SUCH should be the husband's love toward his wife.... also in phl 2;3 we read about relationships "Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself." - this is the Biblical model of treatining the wife by her husband. also in mat 20;27 we read about those who want to be first and lead: "and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave" - The truth is that we all are supposed to serve one another, submit one to another, love one another. serving is the lifestyle of Bible believers. this is how we are to live. why? because we follow our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ and the Bible says about Him: "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (mat 20;28) The Bible more often reminds women about submission because it is their weak point (women are natural leaders. if it wasnt so the punishment for the sin in the garden of eden about the man's rulership (which was done away with by the redemption of the Lord Jesus) would not have been punishment) and the Bible reminds men about loving their wives because it is their weak point but both - the woman and the man are supposed to love and submit and serve one another.

you just looking at new testament. in the Torah the word is Ezer Kedegno. man should listen to his wife. many men made very bad choices not listening to Ruach Hakodesh speaking through women. Genesis in Hebrew Yahweh warns women you will suffer and have difficult child bearing if u put ur trust in man and not in Yahweh
