With over 25 years experience in every aspect of the automotive industry from collision, street rod, restoration, to paint and everything in between. I have seen what works and what doesn’t work….

I do not give QUOTES ...... but I will provide an estimate range AFTER vehicle assessment

I love using the flap wheel. Anything else really takes off too much metal and is too aggressive for thin metal

Spent the time and the end result is nice . I notice you only used a small piece from the donor , did what you after do to finish the job . I like your videos .

I would call this method, cut and butt. This can be used in numerous applications. Again, you are a master craftsman and I enjoy and learn from each and every one of your videos.

This work is done at an admirable standard. Some commenters use the word craftsman - and that’s dead on. Even when he’s working on a part that nobody will see after assembly, Robert seeks a level of quality that shows respect for the work and himself. Congrats to those who have Robert build their car. For me it’s valuable too as it models the level of work I can try for when working even on small fixes on my 68 Chrysler. Thanks for these videos Robert.

Wonder if the customer understood they were probably going to spend most (all? more?) of a $1,000 bucks just fixing wheel wells (which no one is ever going to see). That was an outstanding repair, this must be an important car.

Carefully with a 36 grit flapwheel, Doing this , you really want to focus on making flat welds so there isn't a lot of grinding or sanding

hi, you mention in your video that they dont make the inner wheelhouse panel solo. heads up i bought inner wheelhouse panels off of ebay. panel is by dynacorn. im not repairing vert but a sedan not sure if it makes a difference but i figured id message ya about it since im using your vids as reference to repair my 63 sedan.

Inner wheel houses are available for the coupe and hard top but no one reproduces convertible inner wheel houses, the convertible is very different. Thanks

@@guzzifabrication3448 I think he meant they make inner and outers separately at least they make them for 63 I had to use outer quarter wheel wells to make outer wheelhouse and hand fab inners for my 61

Robert I messed up when sandblasting the under side of my 64 impala hood an blasted out the expoxy puddy that holds hood skin off main frame is there away to repair or do I just need new hood

Is the hood skin warped or "stretched if so yes, I would replace the hood
