When I feel like I don’t have the willpower to do a workout at the gym, I tell myself I just have to walk from the car to the locker room and if I want to leave after that I can. But I’ve never actually left without working out! The hardest part is just showing up

Omg, this is such a great tip!!!! If I went to a gym I would totally utilize this. Sometimes it easy to get lazy because I have a treadmill in my basement, and I know I can get off any time and go shower and lounge. Honestly, just taking that moment to imagine how motivated everyone on this channel is, keeps me going. If you can do it, so can I! 💕

when it comes to building habits there is also a very helpful technique and its about pairing your new habit that you're about to form with an existing one: for example: if you want to start writing gratitude journal pair it with your morning tea or coffee. If you want to listen to a podcast or audiobook but you struggle to find time for this - put the headphones on and pair it with everynight dishwasher loading. It definitely helped me many times :)

I'm going to start by going to the gym and do the treadmill for 5 minutes. I live 3 miles from my gym so there's no reason why I can't do this. I want to start by doing it three times a week and designating a specific pair of sneakers so that I know when I put them on, it's a win because the intention and hopefully follow through will be there. I miss going to the gym but it has been a couple years! Thanks for this video and I love the idea of exploring what my dream self would do on a daily basis. Definitely a journal prompt, thanks!! Well wishes!!

I am taking this year to develop a regular practice of studying the Greek pantheon; one or two of the major gods and goddesses per month, as well as designing aesthetic board/collages after I study each one. I am also really working to integrate daily prayer/gratitude time into the end of my day, where I light candles and set the ambience to one that is peaceful (I remember Katie mentioning this in a previous video- making our environment conducive to our particular goals.) 💕

One thing that I’ve been meaning to do is set a better system for myself! Sticking to certain days out of the week where I can sit down and write out my content schedule, or brain storming new content ideas, and filming. Working a 9-5 definitely limits my time but trying to set a better system to allow myself to follow my dreams is important ❤️

Watching this video makes me emotional and motivated ❤. I always think my self as a failure, I usually self sabotage and generally Im always afraid to start something because Im afraid to fail. 😢. After watching this, it makes me realized its okay to fail, but fail forward atleast you fail by trying instead of not trying anything at all. Small steps is the key to success, dont put to much pressure on yourself and dont do anything all at once it will burn you out. Thank you katie for sharing this video ❤, I guess I really need to hear this. 🙂

ARE YOU ME???!!! being ambitious is also my achilles heel so i'm prone to burnout and it takes too looooong for me to heal and get back on track. what works for me is to tell myself that 'i will just do it on this day' and then it will motivate me to go on and on. also be patient! i'm a very cheeky brat and impulsive so it's very hard but meditation and taking things slow helps me. (btw I'm also bad at math lol but I'm creative ALL THE TIME even those who know me labeled me as an artist)

I never can start or continue my healthy life journey even if I want it so much. Cause I see a lot of negative stuff that really makes you depressed and you lose all the happiness and everything feels white and black all bcs of the media. Idk where or how to begin with this life. I’m just 16 and don’t even think that I ever lived like a child. I’m now only looking at today and the future but I’m always stopping even at the smallest thing. I really want to begin with this healthy lifestyle right now, but I block myself and it hurts me a lot cause I can’t even start and do what I want bcs I always see negative things. I hoped I would see more positive things in my life so I could give myself a discipline not motivation..
