Really liked this video! An interesting idea might be a weekly series where you implement your own advice each week, reflect on progress, etc.

I think I have subconsciously operating under slow productivity but I beat myself up about it. What has worked is syncing my productivity, exercise, and diet to my cycle. Loved this video. Makes me feel ok about my energy and attention fluctuations.

Hey Katie, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

I realized I am more productive when I start my morning slow, go for a walk and have my breakfast. I used to jump straight to work and I felt horrible, which negatively impacted my productivity.

I loved this video, my daily practices are splashing ice cold water on my face when I first wake up, have my coffee, do a morning post & answer messages, walk my dog 2x/day, have a smoothie, take my vitamins, listen to a podcast, this I find super important, spend at least an hour on my connections for my business, more on weekends, power walk almost daily, chat with my mum who is 500 miles away.😊

Hi Katie, this was a beautiful video but I think you severely under-credited Cal Newport. You’ve outlined his work almost verbatim, but only mentioned him once briefly as a proponent of slow productivity when in fact you summarized his entire book. Please take this as constructive feedback as I love your content but more credit was due. ❤
@Katie.Callaway14 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for pointing this out! I haven’t actually read Cal Newport’s book yet, but I’ve just ordered it and am really looking forward to understanding his ideas in-depth. The research for this video was based on various online articles, many of which highlighted Newport's influence on the topic, but I guess I was ignorant as to precisely **how** much of that research was directly from Cal himself. I always aim to provide proper credit, so I truly appreciate your feedback - it helps me improve and stay accurate. I’m adding a link to his book in the video description right now. Thanks again for your support and thoughtful comment! ❤

I really can understand what you've been through, I believe it's even harder for you to bear all this pain, I put myself in your shoes and it's extremely painful and heart breaking, our pets are our saviors when we've been through hard times. All my prayers for you my dear, and may God give you strength to handle all of them ❤

I needed this so much. April was not amazing for me either but your optimism is infectious, thank you for posting this. You truly made a change in my mindset. My goal for May is to figure out the new responsibilities at work and find my balance there. I also want to go back to the gym after taking a few weeks break.

I'll definitely be joining you on the gym front! <3 Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. I'm sending you all the good vibes for this month.

I'm really sorry to hear about your fur babies, Katie. They are family, and it's truly one of the hardest things to go through. As heartbreaking as it was to watch, I appreciate you being real. You're absolutely right about how KZfaq is full of people who seemingly never experience hardship. Thank you for sharing, and I hope May gives you a reprieve from life.

Keep your sanity for as long as you can. Lord after three kids I don’t know where I left it. I long to have the time and space to be creative. We aren’t supposed to live in the trenches. But I am definitely saying no to many things and slowing down significantly. One day at a time right. 😊

Katie, my heart and thoughts and prayers are with you ❤ I’m sending so much love. A few years ago I lost my favorite cat in the world, who I had since I was in elementary school so for almost 15 years. He was the sweetest thing ever and my best friend; I basically grew up with him. I understand your pain 😢 they will always be in our hearts and memories and pictures 🫶🏼 love you 💕.

I lost the dog that raised me 2 years ago. I still have days where I cry because I miss her. She was there with me through over a decade of my life, from the time I was a fresh out of college newlywed to being a mom in her 30’s starting scary new ventures, and she was always by my side. I have a new dog, and she brings me so much joy and is the best furry side-kick, but there are those heart animals. All this to say, I understand. I’m so sorry you going through this!

Thank you for such a real video. Many times, I feel down at the end of a month because I have not hit all of my monthly goals. Thank you for the reminder that no one is perfect; and, thank you for the reminder that the beginning of each month is a great time to reset and begin again. I hope May brings you many blessings!

I am so so sorry to hear about Killer, and Tony's diagnosis. I feel like it is worse with pets because you can't have the same communication as with people. I lost the love of my life, my beloved boy cat Stark, back in late 2021. I still miss him daily, even though his sister is very much alive and I got her another cat friend a few months after we lost him. <3 On a lighter note, I am now thinking what would be part of an RHSLC pilgrimage. Would have to include Mary Cosby's church and Beauty Lab, which I also think is where Jen got arrested?
