See, this is why I love your channel. I had some time before church and popped this on at 1.5 speed. The preppy look in this video inspired me to throw on a print shirt under my light sweater, a combo I hadn't done before. You always have the best and most inspirational content and I love how you take the most basic of pieces and make them fun and interesting! Your influence on me has been priceless, you have made me see fashion in a different and better light and saved me a lot of sanity and money! I recently cleared out a few things from my closet that no longer fit and that just don’t fit my style anymore and I wondered what I should replace these pieces with but I have realized I don’t need to replace them with anything. Ciao! The stand out for me was the look with the cropped white jacket and black layer under, I realized I could absolutely create the look from what I have. Seeing so many different styles and how you create them is helpful motivation to just try things and tweek them... seems planning extra time to do so is an important part of intentional and slow fashion as well. I’ve hesitated but I’m going to try snapping some pics of essential outfits to wear again.💕 .

Great video! I love wide leg jeans but my rectangular body shape requires a belt to provide the illusion of a waist. I just love a good belt. Your brown one is particularly gorgeous!

I love these looks. But where I live in Mississippi, it will be a very humid 97 degrees F-and it’s only mid May! How does one keep the crafted look without long sleeves and layers? I can’t do shorts and so have relied on maxi dresses. Any further suggestions? I would love your thoughts here.
