We hear it all the time: "You can do anything you dream of doing," "The world is your oyster," "There are endless possibilities for you..."
These are often words from people who never followed their own dreams, so what are we missing?
I've become aware that we are a bunch of followers following the follower. Or, as Samantha Jones from Sex and The City says, "It's the blind leading the blind."
In this video, you'll get two tools that will help you raise your awareness on this topic and take matters into your own hands.
Because it is true: You do have the power and responsibility to create and design your own life.
Let me know in the comments if you're ready to make a pivot, and let's link up here too 👇

Your channel showed up on my feed via algorithm because I was watching alcohol cessation vids, but now it looks like you're onto a philosophical journey, so I'll jump in here and spew some thoughts Yankee style. Conspiracy aside, this world from the dawn of the age was set up to benefit a select few at the cost of the many. This is self-evident when it comes to careers and employment as you mentioned. Certainly we see, depending on an individual's values, a 9-5, or realistically a 5-9 gig, can certainly make some people 'wealthy'. Oftentimes this was their ultimate goal as they valued material goods before all else, and likely this is how they were raised, and therefore inculcated into the mindset. For the vast majority of those in the Western world, employment is a form of slavery (fine indentured servitude) where one trades their skills/labor/talents for enough wages (currency) to house/clothe/feed themselves and rarely more. The taking on of debt gives the illusion we are doing fine, even though wages are functionally decreasing. By giving the majority of our lives and best parts of our days/weeks to an employer, we tend to delude ourselves into accepting the truth that we may have actually screwed up. Making mistakes sucks, and no one wants to admit them. Naturally, there are no absolutes in life, but in my opinion, it's pretty clear going down the unquestioned, post WWII path of going to school, getting a job, getting married, buying a house (good luck now LOL) and retiring on a pension is more illusory than fact. So, you are correct in my eyes. The only problem is what is the alternative and functioning solution? Until then, it's day to day and making the best of it all. Thanks again for you content!

Thank you for the input! Means a lot for sure! What's important is to find your own path - the job or work doesn't really matter, as long as you're happy and aware of the steps you're taking in life and why you're doing it 🌟 Thanks for following along 🌱
