I will send this to a few people who could use the fast damping help, after what can be learned here, adjusting the FST bump and FST rebound independently to control the bouncing (in the soft case) then seems a lot easier.

Thanks for this, Steel. This is the hardest part of tuning and how it relates to ride height and car front to back weight distribution 😅.

Loving tuning advice videos!! Do you by chance know how and handles the time trial rankings regarding the new update? Are times reset with a big update? What about your setups that you provide so generously, as they are all affected by the update. Is there a point still using them?

Know these setup videos are fairly old by now, but was just wondering if you could possible make something regarding wet conditions, and how these settings relate to them. Even following all these videos, I can't get even a vaguely usable wet setup in basically any car, it seems.

Its not altogether setup related. We are working on getting the wet tires to work better and the AI to behave reasonably in the wet. Setup wise, its pretty simple. raise the car a few mm, and soften everything, springs, dampers, arb by a few clicks. Max TC and AB.

@@Steelcast27 Ahh, that makes sense then. I noticed some cars like the DTMs are just flat-out not drivable in the wet, and things like GT4s tend to understeer so badly on fast sweeping corners, that you can't keep up with even low AI. Good example of this is turn 2/3 at Watkins Glen. that said, thanks for the clarification, I'll give all that a shot. Should you also reduce camber in the wet, or is that still subject to the same rules as dry conditions?
Perfect this technique for quicker lap times, guaranteed!
