Why does the hammer in your kit look totally different than the ones In the kits on impressart.com ?

This is one of our older videos showing their previous style of hammer. ImpressArt introduced a new sea foam plastic model a few years ago. We'll do a video on it the next time we have a metal stamping project in the works, but the technique shown here hasn't changed.

hi does this work on stainless steel?

The manufacturer recommends these punches for softer metals such as copper, brass and nickel silver. We've had some luck using them on metals with a small percentage of iron but I can't recommend the punches for use on something as hard as stainless steel.

They make stamps specifically for harden metals. These stamps will eventually dull if used repeatedly on such metals
