How to use the PASSÉ RÉCENT in French (Venir de) // French conjugation course // Lesson 30

The passé récent in French is used to talk about something that happened recently. It's always made of the verb VENIR conjugated in the present tense, followed by DE + the infinitive verb describing the action. It can also be conjugated in the past when referring to something that happened just before another action in the past. In this case, the verb Venir will be conjugated in the imparfait, and in the second part of the sentence, the verb will be conjugated in the passé composé.

In this case le is a pronoun, a direct object pronoun, so in this case, it won't become du :)

I'm in 8th grade , I actually thought there would be no second language in 9th { second is French so I dint study as i did good in other subject , before this also I studied French a bit if I had time but since I had final exam I focused on other subject , your videos have saved me since to pass 9th i need get good in subject even if i fail French in this exam i still recover in ma summer thanks to you

I see where you are confused. We don't have "it" in French, so ELLE can be a person or a car. We can say "She broke down" as a person but we know that it's about her car, if that makes sense. And ON is the equivalent of NOUS (we). Let me know if it helps :)

When you going through the conjugated form of the. verb ( Venir ) as listed in the subject pronouns congutated form of the verb, when you're calling them out in that order as followed on the screen which are : ( Je. viens , Tu. Viens , ll- Elle.--on vient ) which equates or =. to l have / you have / he have / she have / we have... So on and so forth.. I hope it doesn't come - across as a stupid question dylane..?

@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Thanks very much dylane for clearing that up.. I got my wires crossed.. I was thinking of the verb venir followed by the preposition. de + infinitive verb which then means. I. have done that
