This is possibly the best tutorial I've seen for watercolor pencils. I've been trying to master them for a couple years, and how you've explained the process makes more sense than anything I've seen. Thank you.

I've been trying to figure out if you can use watercolor pencils the same way you use colored pencils and if they give the same look. I'm still unclear about this. I have a big collection of watercolor pencils, but am planning to buy a bunch of polychromos because I love the layered art you can achieve with them. I've compared them by drawing the same motif and I think I've noticed a difference but I'm curious to know what you think.

I just bought some watercolour pencils the other day and I am totally confused. Do I just dip the tip into the water or do I colour everything and then use water? If I do colour everything and then use water, whats the different between watercolour pencils and actual watercolour?

I’m gonna write my own superhero team story. I call my superhero team the faithful five. One of them is a butterfly superhero girl called Blue Morpha. I was gonna with a backwards like “ Morpha blue”, but “ blue Morpha” as in “ blue Morpho” sounded like it had more sense. But what kind of powers would a butterfly superhero girl have? Would the wings grow out of her back or mechanical wings? And antennas that tingle and twitch To warn her there’s trouble like Spider-Man’s spider sense that tingles.
