mentioned this in your other vid.. i switched over couple years ago to a homemade fertilizer. crushed egg shells, crushed bone, hardwood ash, and a little worm castings. i mix all this in vinegar. roughly 1:1 but way less worm castings. i then adjust ph to 5.5 with vinegar and bottom water. plants exploded. and all diseases went away.

What about watering after winter . When substrate is hydrophopic? Should it be submerged for some time to saturate the soil?

Yes, if ever the soil becomes hydrophobic submerging it will help.

Bottom watering works fine as well. :)

bottom watering can lead to splitting. so be very careful and use a super draining soil mix.

I have heard this but I use grow lights in the winter and water all year round.

Does the quality of water matter when cultivate at home vs rain water out in the natural environment?

When germinating, I use spring water. At every other stage of life I use tap water. I've used tap water in three different cities with no problems. Of course, every city is different.

@@SacredButtons I also wanted to ask Do you have any recommendations? since I could not find 2-7-7 ( I don't know what this means) Organic liquid fertilizer. I found Shultz but not organic and other brands have organic but not 2-7-7.
