The monochromatic look with the green shoes and pants will work with a black polo that may have a green logo or stripe. As long as the green is the same tone.

I’m with the crowd that feels if you’re an older say 30-35+ year old gentleman, high top sneakers probably won’t look as great. Definitely go with the boot if you like them, but the low profile sneakers pretty much work for anyone and everyone.

That's some pretty solid advice about sneakers from someone that makes videos wearing suits and formal clothing. Take notes sneakerheads, this guy knows his stuff. Personally, I agree with everything. Especially rule #2 and #3. Function over form and keep your sneakers looking good as new

Antonio, I really like your comments. I want to let you know that green shoos and green pants can go together especially if of different tones. One thing to look for in making a "Transition" is for after image colors. knowing the color charts may be of help. When one deals with colors "proportion" is another factor, example a pair of red shoos against a orange pair of chinos . Colors create emotion and the red shoos been vibrant by comparison the chinos covering a wider aria of the body it will balance out. This way the "transition " will not be so drastic but pleasant to the eye.

After viewing the guide, I'm now ready to get me some sleek new sneakers... Edit: I agree, green monochromatic look with sneakers _is_ trying too hard in my opinion. Not something I'd go full on with; I could maybe with a sports jacket over a polo and athletic pants with variations of the same colour...

- nice video Antonio. very informative. - just a general thing i feel - dark blue and black don't work WELL tgt. yes ppl can wear them and they won't look bad, but i think they don't look the best either. for low contrast looks, i would either opt for darker greys with black or 2 blacks or 2 dark blues instead and so on. but whenever we have a dark blue (or anything else other than grey) with black, the contrast is low and the colours are very different, which looks a little bit off in my opinion - and yes i do agree, we need to stick to classic colours if we are going for a look with all the same colours - grey, blues, black. all green might look a bit weird

Sneakers with a suit is still much more preferable than a t-shirt inside a suit; that being said why this stuck with me despite "casual style" creeping into formal is because I lump this into the same category as rolling-up-your-sleeves-but-keeping-your-tie-on. I really do love sneakers, and have been tempted to wear Air Force 1s with business wear. But when I wear a suit my intention is to be dapper, formal, you want to be sharp. Having that t-shirt or sneakers with the get up just screams "You may as well go business casual!" Then again, I watch your channel for tips. You did showcase a few guys rocking the sneakers with suit look (none had a t-shirt) I'm not sure what's your take on this, but I'd be glad to continue watching your channel to find out!

Love what you do, well in! The jungle green shoes + green pants go well with a solid colour top, black v-neck may be: if you are 'brave' you could accessorise with the laces, may be black laces to go with the top. That's how I'd play it.

5:05 Depends on the shoe, white chucks can look great beat up. I actually think when they are new and still squeaky clean they look a bit off. Generally I keep my sneakers clean though. I give them a wipe down once a week.

1 cons: because of most sneakers have totally flat sole it might be painful for you back. I usually place an heel insole to fix that.

I prefer Adidas for sneakers / sports shoes and I am somewhere between a 10.5US (snug) and an 11US (slightly loose) on Adidas sizing. The latest pair I bought was a size 11.5US and it's a little more but slightly looser than 11US but it still fits comfortably. My question is how large is a pair of sneakers too large esthetically that it looks like you have cars on your feet? What is the correct height to shoe size ratio?

I own 9 pairs of Converse low tops that I wear regularly, even to work. I have blues, a gray, maroon suedes, soft yellow, a ballistic nylon pair, etc. I have a pair for every look.

@@RealMenRealStyle I'm a teacher, so at work I wearing slim fit khakis with lightweight sweaters (lots of colors and neutrals). I'm off for summer now, so mostly it's just plain pocket tees with 7" inch shorts (almost all color with few neutrals). Btw, I'm 26 and 5'5".

Well, I dunno, but I think most sneakers belong in the gym or similar places. I am however optimistic about the trend toward "dress sneakers' mainly because they look like casual shoes and are very "unsneakerlike".

I always was complimented whenever I wear sneakers the same color as my trousers one or the other has to be lighter than the other. If you throw a shirt in the mix, they have to match the color of the sneakers. That is just my opinion.

First, love the Nothing New shoes and concept. I am definitely considering a pair. But I disagree with your take on the matching sneaker to pant. Especially in the case of slim chinos, a matching pair of high tops gives your leg an elongated look - always a plus if you are on the short side or if you are more long-waisted. Pair that with a more waist length denim trucker jacket and that is a flattering look that really could adjust your proportions. Imagine that Forest color combo you showed with a navy tee and a classic Levi's dark denim jacket. Winner!

As we age our feet hurt! Wear a shoe that feels good first, 68 year old I wear Adidas in contrasting color, or rip away with yellow, pink/red, blue. Lots of compliments all ages, my favorite is you pull off that color but not sure I could. Thanks

I don't know how this channel got 2.3mio subscribers, it's basically like those magazins that have 40% or more of the pages filled with ads. I get that you need to make a living, but your content probably never gets demonetized, so you already get ad revenue from KZfaq, no need to spend 1m 30s of a 9m video on even more advertising. Your content is sometimes good, but those ads are too much. I'm pretty sure those 2.3mio are fake, since your videos only get like 45k views on average in the last 12 months. Wish you good luck though.

Sneakers is for people that follows fast fashion or for athletic situations but I would never wear it to school/job but you do you it’s not my thing but a navy sneakers . Just don’t wear the sneakers with suits. I’m not a fan of the cotton and plastic and I like leather much more
