I really like the camera angle and the speed you are showing the work. I hope you show a whole bunch of cast-on techniques and explain why certain types are better for certain types of design. I find cast on edge row is the ugliest thing. One thing I find the most beautiful is I cord cast on but the very first WS row right after the CO row is really hideous. In addition, ribbing doesn't seem to work with I-cord cast on. I love your tutorial. I was looking for tutorial videos by someone who talks slowly, clearly and to the point. Thank you so much for starting this.

How do you do this purlwise? I'm making your Ramona cardigan and I can't find a tutorial on this

I don't have a video yet for the purled-on cast-on (it's in the works though!). But it's similar to knitted-on but you just work the stitch as if to purl instead. If you have trouble with it though, feel free to just use the knitted-on instead. Since you'll be picking up stitches around it later on, it's not very noticeable if you need to change it up. Hope that helps!
