I just read the book covering TSR's history. Thank the gods they didn't sell GW to them and they avoided that shitshow. Say what you will about GW I'd still not like them to be owned by WOTC/Hasbro.

Oh, nah. I play Malifaux. I appreciate WH for its place in the Zeitgheist, but the people that made it arent the people that run it. Not really a special place in my heart, more like my pituitary gland. Still, culture is culture, and ya love to see it.

Wfrp is like dnd but better. You have much more flexibilty with proffesion system raden than class. At lest ed of dnd i know. Wit is 3.0 a little riny bit and 5e dnd. Comper to all 4 ad of wfrp. ;]

idk, maybe because the initial influence isn't as obvious? hard to say. unless you know the history of GW, I'm now sure how many modern fans would even know of their involvement with D&D

I would say it's the newer Warhammer players. Being mostly younger, they care not for history and roots of the Company's beginnings. That's just my opinion, being in my 60's and still gaming. I've noticed everything that came before their own discovery of the game, is thought of as "durpy" or lame.
