Hello Everyone!! This is our off grid, compact air conditioning setup! It is an Ecoflow Wave with 1 add on battery. It will work on that battery on full blast for 4hrs, or 8hrs on economy mode. We are charging the Ecoflow battery using a 24v step up converter coming from our 2 100ah 12v lithium batteries which are getting a charge from 300w of solar. If we were to go to a campsite, I would probably plug into shore power using our 2500w Magnum Energy Inverter / Charger, and then plug my Ecoflow Wave directly into one of our 110v outlets. This setup works awesome and if I had a chance to redo things, I would do this over again. Thanks For Watching!

This is a Gen1 EcoFlow Wave portable aircon. The Gen2 (Wave 2) is considerably smaller than the Gen1 EcoFlow Wave.

Your video answered the two questions i had and answered some I didn't think to ask. Ecoflow should give you a commission since ive decided to buy one.

Would be nice if you could screw that drain lid on the outside bottom so that you could leave everything connected for the hot months

Great video. I wanted to ask if this will work with no issues using a 200w solar panel setup? I'm currently using 2 Renogy solar panels (200 watt) with a Renogy Rover 40 Amp 12V/24V DC input MPPT solar charger and a Renogy 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter 12VDC to 120V AC Converter? I also have a LifePo4 Battery 100Ah 12V 1280Wh Deep Cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. With this setup the only thing I have plugged into the inverter in my camping fridge.

Thanks! Should work fine. I'm guessing you mean plugged into 120v power? I don't think a 100ah battery would last long running this, but you could try. I use the EcoFlow add on battery and just charge it off of my battery bank using a 24v step up converter. The battery used on the EcoFlow is 24v, so I charge it using 24v.

That’s the exact set up I’m looking for and I have an Econoline. Also, how many watts of solar are you running? And do you have any videos of that set up?

Thanks! I have 300 watts, and 2 lithium batteries. Works great! Also using a seperator between my alternator and auxilliary batteries so it gets a charge from both. I do have a video on my channel. Check it out!

I use the A/C. This isn't the most "flawless" setup but definitely works great!

What’s it draw on regular ac and on eco? Watts?

Not sure what you mean. I use the Ecoflow because it has its own battery and doesn't draw anything from my setup. A 110ac unit would more than likely drain my batteries if I ran it off of my inverter.

You have a fundamental flaw in your system. For every cubic foot of air you blow outside, you must pull in a cubic foot of air. Some systems have a split dual duct or a duct inside a duct. Your system will work better it your condenser uses outside air.

Thank you! I understand that, but don't want another huge hole in the floor. It works fine as it is, so I'll leave it this way until I see an issue. Thanks for your concern!

@arnold.escapades Question. I'm having issues cooling a room that's about 10 x 10 and it takes a long time to make a dent in the heat of the room. Might it be best to only run the hot air put while letting just the I side are be recirculating? Perhaps the air outside is too hot to truly and effectively cool the room? Just curious since I see yoy are using yours that way. Thanks.

@@woodypaq Not sure. I only used mine this way because of lack of space. I have my van well insulated, and it cools it down a lot and maintains it there. May give it a shot?

@@arnold.escapades I'm just home and removed the input hose to see. I can see it working, just wondering how well. This would be awesome. I can take that high an investment and put it to regular use. Thank you for your response.

@@arnold.escapades It's working great! 💪🏾 Happy it's much more coolness to the air and indeed I think it's just a bit too hot to thoroughly cool the air at this moment. It's Texas after all here.
