Muchas gracias por este video! Tiene un buen audio y producción y por eso me gusta mucho. Pero, hay un posibilidad que olvidaste un uso de "hace falta"? [objeto indirecto] + Hacer Falta + el sustantivo? Como la canción "Le hace falta un beso" de Secretto?

Hola, me encantan tus videos.Quisiera agregar otro significado de este verbo multifuncional. "Faltarle al respeto a alguien" = "No tenerle respeto a alguien" o "ser irrespetuoso con alguien". Here's another common meaning of this multifunctional verb: "Faltarle al respeto a alguien" means "To have no respect for someone" or "To be disrespectful towards someone".For example: No les faltes al respeto a tus mayores = Don't be disrespectful towards elderly people. Espero haberlo escrito bien en inglés.

Thank you so much! I’m learning Spanish and I recently traveled to Guatemala and they used this verb very often! I’ve always gotten confused with faltar but this video cleared it up with the examples and different uses. I’m definitely going to practice and master it! Great video!!

Ana, gracias por enseñar 6 significados y usos del verbo faltar. Sé que aprendí varios usos nuevos. Como siempre, tomé notas para futuros estudios y referencias. Una cosa divertida que noté, alrededor de las 4:20 en el video, dijiste "I'm lost" en un inglés perfecto como siempre. En el subtítulo en inglés de abajo decía "It's lust"(es lujuria). Vi un meme en español el otro día que me hizo reír, decía "calmate carnal tey quirisi" - esto me da risa porque "tey quirisi" es como "take it easy" en inglés.

El RAE no indica que se puede usar faltar en vez de extrañar. Aún así todos las lecciones dicen que s¡. ¿Que piensan ustedes?

However, if I can say, there were more times that you spoke in English in this video and it was a bit jarring for me because my brain was focused on understanding what you were saying in Spanish. I prefer it when you stay with Spanish in your explanations, especially since you already did all the work of putting the subtitles. Love this channel so much, learning so so much. Thank you!!

Yo diría faltan 10 minutos para llegar o llegamos en 10 minutos. La primera es correcta, pero no es común en mi opinión.
