Hello I have a Huawei Mate 20X Could you do a detail exercise review on working out with a Huawei Watch GT2. Every review I see just talk about the look and functions but no real world workout capabilities. I would like to know how it really do for indoor outdoor running, trail and road bike exercises. And any other workout deem worthy. Take it to the max. Thanks.

I like the looks and longevity but the app support seems lacking, if this had samsung apps it would be my 1st choice even if the battery life takes a hit.

Hello. Great review, great watch, but there is one important thing to consider before buying, that is not mentioned in this review: For me the most important things on a Smartwatch are tracking sports and showing messages. BUT: the GT2 (and GT1) is not able to do both at the same time. So when you have started a workout, you do not get informed of new messages. The Watch will receive the sms & WhatsApp’s, emails, but you will not notice. During workout there is no alert, no vibration and you can not switch to the messages-screen until You stop the workout. Some workouts do not require getting messages, but if you are in a gym for several hours or you are just going for a walk and track ist, i think the alerts during workouts are very important. I can not understand, why Huawei did not implement it. Forme this is a no go and I returned the watch, that I normally would like the most. What do You think? Does it matter for You?

Without a doubt, it's a beautiful watch with great build quality, but that's where it ends, for me, at least. I've tried this watch with both the android system, and the iOS system. iOS (Apple) losses out on some of the watch's capabilities. The Android app, and iOS app (Huawei Health) is a hit and miss for me. First of all, in sleep monitoring, it only starts at 8:00pm. Not very useful for people who work shifts. Fitbit, on the other hand, handles sleep tracking/monitoring far better than Huawei. Also, syncing does not always render accurately. Plus, when you enter your weight manually, what you type in is not what the app states. It's always off a decimal point each time. There are numerous other issues that I will not get into. Nobody wants to read a book here. My thoughts are that this watch, although beautiful, becomes as useless as a chocolate teapot when used with the health app.
