Read "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. Hudson Hornet was Kerouac's favorite car for a cross-country trip. You could sit 4 across in the front seat because the "arm rests" were at seat level. The outside people had to have one cheek on the seat and the other on the armrest.

Sorry, it really does handle pretty well. And, it wasn’t all that big, inside was cavernous, outside no bigger than anything else. A great ride and a great car, I can speak on these things because I owned one for about ten years, and I really enjoyed it, great family car rides like a dream come true.

Enjoyable video with lots of good pictures but the text contained a lot of b.s. The Hudson was no bigger than other cars of it's era so parking it was no different than parking a Cadillac. The dashboard was similarly styled to Chevys or Fords of the same year, not science fiction styled. Hudson also had a small car, the Hudson Jet, that didn't do well in the marketplace. In fact that cars lack of sales is what led to Hudson having to merge with Nash to form AMC.
