Hulk was weakened when he fought the Deatroyer armor. Also, Hulk fought Odin Force Thor, not regular Thor and was beating him.

@BannerIncredibleHulk he was dying due to the events that happened after Onslaught. Doctor Strange even tells him his body was the nexus to two universes and it was killing him. This is why it was do easily to injure him. Gladiator blasting through his chest, him getting stabbed with spears and crap. This Hulk was weakened and was dying.

The Hulk who was injured by Gladiator was Bannerless, and although he had greater strength base, he was dying cos he was separated from Banner after the Onslaught's event. However, Banner had merged with Hulk again in Heroes Reborn: The Return #4, before this fight with Destroyer which took place in IH #461.

I don't remember well, but doesn't Mangog become stronger with the hatred of others? If so, that would be an interesting advantage against the Hulk.

In the animated series Avengers. The whole team went up against Mangog in Central Park NYC. Thor & Hulk teamed up to fight the MANGOG & was slapped around like Thanos did them in the comics [whom Thor & Hulk never beat]. Odin even came to help the Avengers to no avail. Great story too for Animation.

Yeah, Mangog should win. The Mangog is really a team buster. The Hulk is a tough cookie, but he didn’t do all that well against The Destroyer last time. Aaron wrote him as damn near unstoppable .

I look forward to The Hulk & MANGOG facing each other. If it ends with the Hulk throwing his opponent into the sun. I would see it as a cop out ending. It's already been done. His son Skaar threw Juggernaut into space (not into the sun).

Hulk's potential may not have reached the top yet. Just because we saw Hulk as The World Breaker does not mean that's The Hulk at his strongest. A characteristic of The Hulk is his ever changing ability to grow in strength and durability. It also depends on why the Hulk is fighting Mangog, what the fight means to the Hulk, and the kind of Rage the Hulk possesses when he battles him. There are different kinds of rage. Mangog might beat the Hulk in many circumstances, but The Hulk cleans Mangog's clock in others.

So MANGOG wins simply because that they couldn't put him down so instead they had to seal him away within the sun itself with magical unbreakable chains unlike the Hulk who could be wrecked by Cosmic level sky father beings such as Zeus who stomped the Hulk or a future Thanos who turned the Hulk into his own person guard dog and maybe something else because it was only him, Ghostrider and Thanos on that planet for what readers can tell which makes it worst. Mangog maybe more unkillable then the Hulk because the Hulk was killed by an arrow which took him out for months which makes no sense if massive parts of his body can be blast off and regenarte there and then. Mangog WINS.

Mangog wins!!!!!!.......only that cosmic "last man standing" celestial Hulk could defeat it,...which probably happened in that time line for him to be the last being alive. Without that incarnation of the Hulk, Mangog sends banner back to the green door again and again...... too strong. Just remember that Beta Ray Bill without Stormbreaker beat Thor soundly, Kurse post Beyonder power up beats Thor SOUNDLY. PEACE and God bless.

WE NEED A "MR. FIX-IT" MOVIE! The Grey Hulk, at night, in a suit! It fits perfectly into the blip years. When attempting to fix his arm, Banner unknowingly creates the Grey Hulk. He thinks he heals and cures himself. Except, at night, he turns into JOE FIX-IT. Joe leaves Banner cryptic messages on the mirror. Have him fight The Leader, (to close the loop) while having to deal with Joe. To win, he must meld Banner, Green Hulk and Grey Hulk into the Hulk he is now. It writes itself! GIVE US "MR. FIX-IT!" @RobertSpiller That was to attract some attention upon the character's debut. The same Jeph Loeb did with Red Hulk upon his debut, when he allowed him to defeat Thor and Hulk as well.
