The Maharashtrian winter festival of hurda is great fun when people gather and roast tender jawari and eat it with various other seasonal food like guava and roasted green gram. The season is still on so please make it soon if tender jawari is available where you live! :)
Serves 3 to 4
Ingredients:
Tender Jawari - 300g
Onion - 2/ 160g
Tomato - 2/ 160g
Green Chillies - 6
Coriander Leaves - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Yogurt/ Curd (optional) - 3 tbsp
Namkeen Mixture - as per your taste
Peanut Chutni - 3 tbsp
For Peanut Chutni
Peanuts - 50g
Garlic - 3 medium cloves
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/4 tsp
