Well let's see as usual our power went out as a transformer blew up across the street, then a tree branch about eight inches in diameter fell through my roof and in the middle of it all my husband claimed into the sun roof and cut it up and got it off the roof then he got a four by four and wedge it in the area of the cave in to lift it back into place and stuffed it with rubber gloves to hold out most of the water , I'm crippled so I was of no help , and now we sit in the dark for god knows how long because teco are slow as molasses and cheap as fudge and we will sit in the dark for weeks as they loly gag along

Anyone know anything in Venice/North Port? Venice is my hometown and my mother, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends are no longer able to communicate. The last messages i got was around 8pm and i quote, "it's getting bad" and "shits getting real". These are from Floridians who've never left because of a storm. I think that might change now. I'm desperate for information.

I’m very concerned about these weather events. Wildfires in the west. Drought in CA and TX. Crazy tornados floods. We need to get a plan for on the changes with the weather. China is having a terrible drought and food insecurity. The U.K. just had a drought I don’t know what the answering are but we need to be talking about long term solutions

recap? is this where say "see we were mostly right" LOL. Seriously tho, weather in itself is hard to predict and a hurricane more so. People should not expect you guys to be infallible. BTW It's funny, you guys don't come up in my "hurricane Ian searches on youtube unless I put "FOX 13 Tampa Bay" with it even when I filter for the last hour. I yhink YT is neglecting you.
