So what's a sword wielding wanker without some cutting? I'm in my full hussar uniform here and I had to test out my sword. It's an antique sabre from the German states, made in the early to mid 19th century. The shape is somewhat modelled after the British 1796 light cavalry sabre, but with a 3 bar hilt instead of the usual stirrup knuklebow. It's a nicely weighted cavalry blade, only sharpened 7 inches from the point and the point of balance is 7 inches in front of the hilt, but it's not unwieldy for all that.
As you can see from the vid I'm very inexperienced at cutting.
