HUSTLER RAPTOR ZERO TURN HYDRO BELT CHANGE

For a couple months I got away with slipping the hydro belt back on. It did eventually break. It stopped moving completely on me.
It's tough to get to but if I can replace it, I'm thinking others can too. I had it apart before I started filming. I hope this helps someone.
It's HUSTLER RAPTOR model is
FR691.
as I find other people's helpful videos I will include them here.
There seems to be a few different approaches and models.

I will have my motorcycle! Until the wife finds.out where I hide it. Then the twisted Kaskaskia River will probably have my motorcycle. Hope the video was useful. Some people are so good at what they do the work is done in a flash. Thought an inexperienced approach might help some others.

Man, I'm glad I found your video with the links to the others. Tony's video helped too but Bob has the older, simpler model. I've got the new "improved", belt slinging, fuel gauge not working model. If you're slinging deck belts, check with your dealer. Hustler had a recall and got a new guide system put on. Deck belt fixed... now it's eating drive belts. Sigh... first and last Hustler mower at my house. My wife and I just laughed and laughed when you said your wife told you to go get a motorcycle. Then told her "go make me a sandwich"

I just saw your comment. The crazy malfunctions and prices for the parts is crazy. The right side hydro pump failed almost right away after this. $900 American dollars? I'm going to see if I can fix this. In the meantime another mower has been introduced to this yard to cover where this Hustler has failed. It seems like 5 years is everyone's sufferage of these mowers. The motor still runs. Guess it could be a go cart part.

That mystery tool is for tightening and loosening the nuts that hold a faucet to a sink. From below the sink, you reach up and tilt the claw head either way to grasp the nut and away you go!

Good to know. Do you know if I can harm that tool trying to get a tailgate pin/bolt out? I'm about to attempt a long pipe on it first with the correct torx but its stuck good.

Funny I had trouble with the he lawnmower at church . A couple weeks ago I popped the tier of the rim and all the air went out . St the timeout did not know how the tire or air stayed on. Until this Monday. I when down a hill and hit s wall . Lol and that pulled out the other tier . Turns out you need straps and s good air pump to fix a tier.

I haven't encountered the tire change yet. My dad used to use a long strap with an adjustable nut. I've heard the really little ones are frustrating to get on the rim

Its a easy fix.a napa belt with the same size,a different spring, rerouted the spring,i was back cutting grass the same day

This was a week and a half fix. Every night after work a little at a time. By the time I got out to his house it was dark. Or I ran into a problem. Wrong mower model. Different lay out. Blechh! The clutch wire was so tight it took two nights. Flashlight Batteries died. Dad locked the door didn't know I was there. Left early a couple times. Had to poop bad and left early one night too
