hello good afternoon. learning a lot from your channel. thanks for sharing your knowledge. Are the 2015 prius battery plates the same as the 2018 prius plates? I ask because I thought about changing all the plates in my battery, which has 28% of useful life, for the plates of a newer, beaten Prius.

Was this corrosion from salt waterfrom the sea? Or is it just non salt water from rain? I realized when you opened more of the battery that yes electrical voltage doesn't mix with water therefore causes corrosion.

Gracias. Recientemente han detectado en mi Ioniq HEV una avería que dice el concesionario oficial Hyundai que proviene del BMS, según ellos, esta estropeado y me lo van a cambiar por un repuesto original. Mi pregunta es : ¿Es inseparable el BMS de la batería donde esta montado o se puede cambiar únicamente el BMS?. Espero tu respuesta, si fuera posibles.

Como puedes ver en el video claramente, la BMS si se puede reemplazar muy facil sin ningun problema 😎👍

Muchas gracias por tu respuesta. Otra cosa sera que el recambio del BMS este incluido en la garantía de 8 años de la bateria al venir integrado este dentro de todo el pack.

Do some ioniq's hybrid have the 12v battery attached to the main battery, and some have a regular one in the trunk/boot?
