I really hope you like todays project, making a realistic bearded dragon art doll. Lol! I kind of stressed myself out with this one cause I know I’m going to have to make more of this guy but its all good and I’m excited to make more realistic creatures in the future.

This might be my favorite piece I've seen you make. Love the reversible fabric on the neck so the beard can actually change color.

O I like the idea of doing baby monitors. :) That would be cute and a could make a whole nest of them XD But I'm also tempted to go life sized too.

Wow. Love the beard changes color just like the real thing. A friend of mine has two an standard and a fancy. King and Leo are so cute. This one looks similar to Leo. Love how real it looks. The eyes fit him well. Great job as usual!

Awww! What a happy little pancake. He came out great, you really nailed the head. I'd love to see you do a frilled dragon or a jeweled lacerta.

im a bearded dragon owner and its very realistic. My only critique is that the nails were very dark compared to how their normally a lighter grey and i would have stuffed the body portion a bit less to mimic the flatness and the stretch of their skin

First I love the lizard second if you want to find some great glass eyes go to Michel they have amazing eyes.

Haha, I really thought you made a mistake and was trying to see what it was 😅 he is very beautiful, but I have to ask, why do you coat the clay pieces with resin and not matte varnish? I personally think it would look better with matte clay pieces.

haha! nope I just stressed myself out to no end at the thought of making more of these. But I think it's a most XD I mainly use resin and not varnishes cause for some reason varnishes and acrylic paints don't respond well to the humidity where I live. They always get sticky after drying and resin hardens like plastic so its stronger then varnish and so far it's the only thing I have to deal with the humidity lol! If I can find a way to have my clay pieces matte I would but I want it to last and not peel off or get sticky lol

@@bubblyleafcreations ah I see and now when I think of it I also have had issues with varnish and polymer clay, but I just thought it was me who hadn't baked the clay enough. I still think your creatures are amazing so keep doing what you're doing ❤️ the galaxy raptor is my favorite right now so I would like to see something more in that style.

So life like! I used to have Rankin Dragons, smaller dwarf breed of beardies. This looks so identical to them, you did an amazing job on this piece

This piece has inspired me to do a lot more reptiles and even dragons based more off of real lizards. So yes their will be more :) I think I have about 3 or 4 ideas I'm already planning out lol

AMAZING!! When you make the feet, did you put hot glue on the wires to hold them together? And if you did, does it effect the baking of the clay seeing as its hot glue and would melt?

Karah Jacobson I would recommend bake and bond to bake clay together

Thank you. Yes I use 16g wire for the frame, put it together with 20g wire and then cover that with hot glue before building the clay on it. The glue does melt but it doesn't really affect the clay, some times it might drip out a little, if not fully covered up. But you can just pull it off while it's still warm.

Ashlyn Adams awwww it’s so sad when they die, same as me. I had a Pygmy and he was soooo skinny and week, his head way to big for his body. Only after a few days, he died....
