I love this guy!! It’s really nice to see that you can make a art doll with felt, or non fluffy fabric, and it still comes out amazing. You have out done yourself!

you really nailed it on Hooky here! My favorite dragons in the franchise are Gronckles for sure, but I feel like they are very hard to capture how cute they are in just a static non-animated form. Its why only like one or two of the plushies ive ever seen have actually been cute and not horrifying XD the lightfury and the night lights would be awesome since you already did toothless! or at least Dart, because she is the cutest night light...though her brothers Pouncer and Ruffrunner are cuties too lets be honest

You did such a great job with him!! I think he is one of my favorites that you have done so far. The next dragon you do should be Cloud Jumper. I feel like you would get his face just right.

wow. wow. wow.. please do more of the mystery draws for this series. I love the details that you put into your work. Hookfang looks like a cross between the movie and the drawings in the book of dragons. so cool cant wait to see what you have in store for us next. Have you seen Race to the edge or any of the tv series? there are new dragons in them that I think you will love. Like the Frightmare. the whole thing glows in the light of the moon.

I like the mystery draw mainly because I don't know which dragon it will be until I watch the video and I don't see the completed project too the end. Like if you wanted to do a specific order the cool, but I like not knowing how it will turn out

Thats what I was hoping, cause its fun and challenging for myself to not pick it out and plan ahead of time. Only thing is, it takes a little longer to film cause I can't order materials ahead of time and need to wait for them to get in. lol

The fabric I'm using is called velboa faux fur short pile fabric. Its kind of like minky fabrics but the backing is stiffer and has less stretch to it, so its easier to sew with. lol at least for me.

BubblyLeaf same! I love them 😍 cloudjumper is my all time favorite but nadders are a close second love your work been following since your first video you inspired me to start sewing and sculpting again! Still havnt made my first artdoll but one day ☺️

This guy came out great! I was curious why you decided to use instamorph rather than clay for the details though. He is seriously amazing though!

thank you. I mainly used the instamorph for the long fragile parts so they could be stronger and I wouldn't't have to worry about them breaking. Also for the teeth it gives it a almost translucent look and made them look a bit more real then just painting them white.

Bashful_Vixen Hookfang is not a female, in the series (race to the edge) he gets a female mate, Stormfly and Meatlug are females

O thats really cool. Right now I think I'm good though. I actually really like making my thumbnails and am finally getting good at it XD but maybe if my work load gets to full we could do something.
