Thanks for making this video!! I just learned that this brushless line even existed yesterday & was hoping a video would get posted about one of the tools. If you decide to add more of these 12v Hyper Tough's to your lineup, please continue to share your experience with them. I don't much care for the 12v battery in handle tools but these look like a good budget option outside of Milwaukee or Bosch. I'm partial to the DeWalt 12v system, but these look tempting. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video, thanks again!!

I appreciate it, I will let you know if I go get the rest of them, I really like the rotary tool, I lost my Milwaukee m12 rotary tool working somewhere and never found it, that one was like 89 msrp and the battery inside was another 40, that hyper tough one is only 36 for the kit

The rotary tool is what I'm most interested in as well!! The only cordless option I have right now is a 4v & I had to fine tune some strike plates for a couple of door locks with a corded rotary tool because the 4v didn't have the power, but the cord was a major hassle for that particular job. $36 for a decent cordless option with other tools that you can add to the lineup may be worth the investment. Definitely provide an update if you get it! Thanks!!

I just bought the long reach ratchet doing a timing job on a 5.4 man it saved me on the valve cover bolts not having to reach back behind the valve covers I have snap on ratchet to and it did just as good as it I’m impressed with their 12volt tools

And people take note the battery wasnt fully charged when removing the mower blades it was about 60%

Yes this was whatever it was charged from the factory and what was left after doing those other few test before removing the blades

I'm a pretty hardcore hobbyist and want that power, speed, and durability which is why I bit the bullet on Milwaukee Gen 3 M12 fuel impact driver and hammer drill combo.

That new tri beam light really makes it look nice, I want one but I’m not sure if it’s a huge step up from the gen 2 other than the lights as far as me buying a whole new tool

As a non professional who will only occasionally use these I prefer the hyper tough line to the more expensive options. Grabbed this impact and the long neck cordless electric ratchet for under $100 together. I get 2 interchangeable batteries (1.5A each is honestly all I’ll need anyway) and a spare slow charger. The 3/8 ratchet came out to $55 on Black Friday and this came out to $41 on sale online. I am not mad at that at all.

Awesome, $100 that’s literally the price of just the m12 impact when it’s on sale, and you get 2 tools and 2 batteries

Have the 12v hyper touph impact 1/4 driver and the Milwaukee 3404-20 m12 fuel hammer/drill very happy with both for just around the house useage their both enough power for me

I want to get that Milwaukee hammer drill one day, currently I don’t really do anything required to use a drill and always find myself reaching for the impact, I prefer drills in the house because they arent as loud

Thanks for watching I no longer have the impact, I have been checking for new tools to come out, they actually have a sale on the Walmart website right now for the whole 12v line

@@mb5150 really it was just because I didn’t see the point in having 2 of basically the same tool, I wouldn’t pick one over the other unless it was a budget decision, the Milwaukee has more features but as you could see by the video they were able to handle the same job, and both have a good warranty, I’d still prefer the Walmart warranty over the other one just because of the instant replacement

I have the 12v HT kit impact & drill and they work awesome you can’t beat the price. $20 for 2.0 amp battery that’s insane. I use it everyday. Right now online it’s $85 for the combo kit. Must buy it now

Man, for what most of these tools are..An electric motor with a micro processor and a bunch of plastic, the price of the name brand ones are is out there. I’m a weekend warrior at best. The hyper tough brand has me interested. My biggest factor really is price and warranty. I have a Walmart 5 mins away, a Home Depot an hour away. I may just have to check out the hyper tough brand.

Next closest thing is Ryobi from Home Depot as far as price goes, and if you get a big name brand tool you could probably get the whole 12v hyper tough lineup for the same price

Possibly, they had a 2.0 in the store you could buy as a upgrade but it would be nice if they make like a 4 and a 6 like the Milwaukee and would be nice if they start making more tools

They won’t fit, that was the first thing I looked at, the tops of the batteries are shaped different

They do not, the top of the battery is shaped differently where the battery goes into the tool

Thanks again you just made my day with this, I was so excited about these tools then they just stopped making them, I still walkthrough Walmart every now and then to see if they have any new 12v and nothing but the tools I’ve already reviewed

Did Walmart stop selling these?? I can longer find them at any Walmarts in my area. You can find them online , but they don’t even appear anymore on Walmart search. You have to find them through Google, when then leads to the Walmart site 🤷‍♂️

I just checked my Walmart app, I typed in 12v hyper tough and a few things came up, I had to put in 12v hyper tough impact for the impact driver to show up, they have them at the store by me still but I have seen a few other stores that don’t have them

@@kadariusbryant3271 Nice, I’ve shot about 4 Walmarts around me within about an hours drive radius. None show any in stock. I’m hesitant to even order online cause not sure if Walmart phasing them out for whatever reason..

This is how I look at it. Pretty much all power tools are made by the same company. If a power tool gets a upgraded motor & battery, that old motor & battery gets handed down to a cheaper brand name.

Technically these both advertise around 1000in lbs they should be able to take lugs off cars and small SUVs.. probably even 1/2 trucks if not rusty and torqued properly..

Walmart is partnered with TTI that's the company that makes Milwaukee Ryobi hart Ridgid. Chances are TTI made this so Milwaukee won't sue them because it's made by the same company.

Embarrassed about what exactly, and how did you find my video about hyper tough tools, were you looking to purchase some, I also own Milwaukee and most likely if I found the hyper tough one before I got the Milwaukee one I probably wouldn’t have even bought the Milwaukee, I use these tools maybe once a week if that, the money spent on them doesn’t really justify the purchase

Move along troll! This review isn’t for you, it’s for those of us who just need a decent tool that doesn’t break the bank. There are more people who don’t make a living with their tools than there are that do. If your happy to pay 3x the price for your tools and can justify that because you make a living with them, please continue to do so, we get it. But those of who don’t make a living with them are not looking to pay 3x as much when these will serve most purposes%
