The Hyundai i30 hatchback is already a slow veteran of the automotive market, as it went on sale in Poland more than five years ago. Still, the 2022/2023 model is still offered in our country, and after the facelift it has gained more arguments to compete with other compact hatchbacks. What the Hyundai i30 currently represents is told in my video test. I got an interesting configuration to drive, as here we have a rather modest Smart equipment version, and the richest powertrain consisting of a 1.5 T-GDI 160 hp petrol, which is mated to a 7DCT automatic transmission. This engine is further supported by a soft 48-volt hybrid system. In the film, I show the 0-100 km/h acceleration and overall dynamics of the hatchback, the fuel consumption both in the city and on the road, the petrol culture and what the MHEV soft hybrid system offers. I'm also looking to find out whether this combination of equipment and drive makes sense in the Hyundai i30 2023. I'm also looking into what kind of build quality this hatchback from Korea has, the capacity of the boot or rear bench seat, and how the halogen headlights shine in it relative to the LEDs. All my observations and opinions about the Hyundai i30 MHEV in hatchback body can be found in the video. Those interested in this model are invited to watch.
