@@Distributable They just generally need to fix up animations where we don't need to see them in absolute painstaking detail. We don't need you to pause the game every single time a triggered effect takes place, blizzard. Just play out the animation and have the triggered effects, if they're still relevant as in the case of the dead berserker, play out instantly afterward

The flavor of the quest is so funny to me. It’s like instead of actually hacking some system Dr. Boom is just beating on the computer. Like in that one episode of spongebob where Patrick is like “we have technology” and proceeds to smash the computer.

@21:00 sending the mummy into Reno would have meant the Golem and the Town Crier would kill the Giant, saving you 4hp and meaning you deal 1 face damage, or keeping an extra weapon charge.

Hearthstone is far from being a dead game. If you want to see a dead game look at Evolve. The developers stopped updating it, the playerbase is extremely small, and it isn’t making anywhere near enough money to ever make a come back. THAT is a dead/dying game. The Hearthstone devs aren’t going to be ceasing production for a very long time; they make too much money for that to happen.

I was working on this for several days last week, and I had decent success against a lot of decks. And weirdly, I had about the same progression as you. I started thinking the bomb package was my go-to, cut Elekk and mechs, and eventually decided bombs were largely redundant. I wound up playing Overlord’s Whip with Redband Wasps, Acolytes of Pain, and Battle Rage. The card draw was really effective. Just pushing face damage almost constantly was really effective against Hunter, Mage, and Rogue. I also had a lot of success against Control Warrior. Where I ran into problems was when I went against Priests and Shamans. And like I said, I “was” doing this 😂

Missplay at 21:00 Trump should have traded the rush minion into reno and then kill the mountain giant with the two minions left on board avoiding losing a weapon hit and 4 damage

21:00 missplay, should've attacked with the 3/2 rush, then with the 4/3 and the 1/2 and use the reborned rush to kill rheno so u wouldn't have to take 4 damage Also 22:50, obvious missplay not killing the 5/5, major of value town getting to greedy

but how about the 10 mana 10/10 taunt minion on the board summoned by the legendary that means the mage had a 10 mana spell in hand wich could be pyroblast yet trump with 16 health trades into the 2/4 with the weapon that putting him on 14 health AND leaves the enemy 5/5 on the board. Now i dont really understand how he survived that but seeing that (in a singleton deck) the mage drew the puzzle box (10 mana spell) right after i am 100 percent sure that the 10 mana spell in the mages hand was a pyroblast so i guess the guy missed lethal? Update: confirmed

Misplayed twice in the last game. First with trades with his Restless Mummy against the Giant (He ran both mummies into the Giant, instead of Mummy, Golem, 1/2, then Reborn Mummy into Reno, 'wasting' a weapon charge) And then by not killing the Phaoris with his Militia (Which he never ended up using, so it's not as though he was saving it)

Is a week supposed to be a lot of time? I'm a little out of touch with the game. Pioneering an off-meta deck a week after release seems like a proper timeframe to me. It's not like the deck would immediately establish Itself, it's off-meta.

I went through about the same R&D cycle with this deck that you did lol... I tried one last thing and that was a recruit package with dimensional ripper and boomship reaver. It didn't get any better even if the Goon combos were kinda cool

I played a lot of Hack the System for the brawliseum, and I have to give props to Armored Goon as an intensely powerful way to stay alive during later turns. Dealing with two 4/3s is very tough when they also can't just smorc you down.

only problem of this deck seems to be that you lost before all the nice value kicks in. This deck has 0 AOE or board clears in it, which is a huge problem, but if you put all the cards for that in it... why not play Control Warrior xD

Love your content, Trump. But that trading at 21:00 made me say "noooo" at my screen in a very sad manner :( Send the Golem and the Town Crier into his Giant and the reborn Mummy into his Reno. Save the 4 damage to your face and keep an extra charge on your weapon for extra button pushing.

Hey Trump, how about you try Tess Quest Rogue? It has some good tools like Walk the Plank, Sap, Vendeta and Cheap Shot, in order to get to the late game and get a lot of value with Tess + Togwaggle's scheme.

I haven't seen any games played with warrior Quest before you did, but wanted to craft a craft that everyone was not playing yet, and crafted it 2 days ago. Misplay at 20:55 Sent 3/2 + 3/1 and 4/3 to the giant instead of sending 3/2 + 4/3 and 1/2 to the giant and sending 3/1 to Reno which would've saved him 4 health and 1 weapon charge with same board state. Although, not like that would win him the game.

Cmon trump! Im too f2p to get this going but i think it should be built differently. 2 upgrades, 2 axes, 2 lances, 2 arathi weaponsmiths, 2 sulthraze. Then you add in the taunt and armor, Flunky, karkut defender, eternium rover, zilliax, the armor goon, 3 mana 5 armor draw 1, 1 or 2 dr boom schemes. So 21-22 cards so far. Dont forget quest. Top it off with single target removal, devastate, shield slams, execute and then warpaths. Your weapons, spells and minions fight for board. Your quest button hits face!

Yeah I've played Hack the System decks with Frothing and they really need to speed up the Reno animation time. Also I recommend you cut out the Bomb stuff and just go super hard aggro.

I think the problem with going super hard aggro is... why play a useless 1 mana card in the first place then, that only gives you value on turn 7 or later? just play aggro warrior without the quest... the Golems should be something like a 3/3 with charge, otherwise the whole deck doesn't make any sense.

That last game may have been winnable, Trump took 4 more damage purely from misplaying @20:54 Restless Mummy trading once into Mountain and then Once into Reno lets the other two active minions trade into the remaining 5hp Mountain Giant and if Trump still wants to attack he could have hit face for 1 instead. Would have meant he was at 12 for that Pyro which might not have been enough but would have meant the opponent needed more resources than he showed.

Isnt Town Crier a bit awkward in the deck? You cant play it on turn one because of the quest, maybe replace it with Korkron elite or something more aggro?

its card draw with 1/2 body attached ( and the drawed card can impact the board instantly) so it has no need to be played on turn 1 ( also vs aggro matchups u can play town crier turn 1 and quest turn 2 or when u can)

It's an amazing card, that you don't need to play on one. Apart from that, you can still play it on one. Turn 2 quest and upgrade still works; if you don't have a 1 or 2 mana weapon playing the quest on turn 2 makes no difference.

Nah they'll just keep adding minor support that will go ignored until next year when Boom is rotated, the power level drops across the board and suddenly the quest becomes playable.
