just discovered this channel and i have the exact same strategy. every new world the first thing i do is find a village, make an iron farm, breeder and trading hall. I hope you continue this series and i hope the algorithm gods favor you.

I do this too. Not to Nico's level. But I do automate nearly everything I need. I also play on an SMP, tho, so when I need wood, I just go to the wood store in our shopping centre and buy some.

I hope you find time to continue this series, it seems really interresting and your presentation is enjoyable :) In regards to diamonds, I do collect them and stockpile them but I almost never use them, except to make a jukebox and a decorational enchanting table. No I don't use that either, villagers are easier and faster for me to deal with xD

I didnʼt know about this series until you mentioned it in your most recent video. If I were doing the challenge you mention about 6 minutes in, I would still mine diamonds, but only with Silk Touch (and then not smelt them). Diamond ore (both types) is a non-renewable resource and collecting it gets it out of the way of whatever else you might want to put there, plus whatʼs the point of a massive storage system if you donʼt store things in it?
