Did you play before the villager update? The automated trading hall was basically required because you'd have to breed and sort through reduculous numbers to get the trades you wanted. Good times

This information was all available on KZfaq already, dispersed as casual mentions or partial explanations in videos by ilmango, gnembon, raysworks, ianxofour, etc. But it's great to have it all in one place.

I feel like all of this is a waste when, by the time you are having to deal with these types of mechanics, you are already probably over level 30, and any XP gained past 30 is straight up wasted due to the horrendous system that is vanilla enchanting.

The issue with continual updates is the content is never developed around a vision of what the game should be, but about continual additions to attract attention. Layers and layers of *permeant* additions for short term gain. There's certain inescapable dynamics to continual content addition, which are mostly negative. Any new addition is either less useful than existing systems, and gets ignored, or more useful and thus contributes to power creep. Game balance is always unstable. There's diminishing returns to new content. Games start out simple, get fleshed out, then are cluttered with more content than anyone can remember. As the most obviously useful stuff is added, you're left reaching for increasingly less impactful additions. Minecraft is getting cluttered with just random crap. Sure, someone at some point will find an excuse to use anything that's added, but for the most part, stumbling upon diorite, tulips in several colors, two types of stone brick in a black color, a 6th type of ridable animal, a 4th way of breathing underwater isn't making the game better. It's just a mess.

These types of efficient bedrock-level farms are actually a godsent on any sort of Skyblock server, where: - each island is its own server instance/shard/whatever - you don't need to clear up chunks of dirt and stone to build the thing This video would have been a godsent for me 8-10 years ago. Keep up the good work!
