i learned it on my mistakes: if you have a second guess while booking a load, don't go for it Or if you notice a small glitch on the Rate Con., like no PU/DEL appt, NO PO number etc Intuition will save you time, money, nerves

PLS screwed us also, booked load from FL to VA for 2250, light load 8k for dry van, total miles 900 or so, they send RC with 1450 first time, second time at 2200 and after that just play it blind, sorry we are checking, waiting for approvement from the customer and ofc they said its pushed for next week, next day, without answering on mails or calls, thats some bs, happened like 4 weeks ago.

Previous week was crazy, i had more cancelations around 4th than i had in last 3 months put together. For a time i worked, or i was exploited by a company that had a policy of calling every facility on every load you book, shipper and receiver to check the load. Crazy i know.
@belle6071Ай бұрын
This same thing happened to me, Monday. Booked a short haul from Laredo to Austin with YAMN. 250 miles, no pickup number for three hours then they put up negative review because we canceled. How can you wait three hours for a pickup number on a same day load? Especially, the driver is waiting one hour at the check in at a small facility in the way of everyone trying to dock, broker saying 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes, for over an hour. Finally driver told to leave facility, so we canceled. Now, we have failure to pickup on mycarrierpacket, unreal!
@NeverStopTRKАй бұрын
Yup and the only reason for this is that they CAN do it.
@johnnowak6045Ай бұрын
Not sure how desperate you were to book first load you talked about but in my experience the moment they start with those shenanigans u book another load. Protect your self and the driver at all cost..

Thanks for sharing your experiences once more. I am unable to register with some brokers because one of their requirements is a carrier need to have had a roadside inspection. Do you initiate roadside inspection to meet this requirement, or wait till you get stopped and it is done? Please share your experience and opinion.

Ya know, with all the details that you have given in this video - Kudo's to you for remembering all of the details enough to sully the reputation of those in the industry that probably have no idea wha the impact of their actions are. - I am surprised that you aren't a "Little More" on top of these folks with "Preventative questions" Like What if.... What are you going to do... Who are you working for... - Those kind of questions. As Many years in the business as you claim to have - I'd feel better with this same video talking about what Brokers can do better instead of complaining about their deficiencies. I mean face it, some of these guys just don't care about the details the way you do. I have been in the Trucking Industry for a little over 13 years and the one thing I have discovered is their focus is on one thing. I believe your approach to this style of video would be better (serving the industry) by not only Putting them on notice, but making it known that "This is what you need to do" The old adage of "Stop Complaining and actually do something about the problem." I am a content creator much like yourself, but I believe that in order to make Truckin Great Again, we have to strive to make it great from where we are. It starts with you. Make an effort to be the solution that you want, and Let your leadership do the talking... I certainly hope the rest of your day goes better than your week has gone. Look alive, and keep these Brokers Honest. and we'll Keep R Rollin.

Thanks for the comment. As much experience as one might have people still do mistakes and bad things will happen occasionally. I do not "claim" anything and I am not trying to make anyone believe anything. "Having experience" does not mean that someone is perfect at something. I am vulnerable as much as the next guy and I am not ashamed to open myself and admit my mistakes. I do have over 500 videos on the channel and you don't have to watch them all but I spoke about many, many topics including, brokers, fraud, negotiation etc. I have over 50 videos where I record myself booking loads. I even go live and book loads. I have nothing to hide and people can watch those videos, cheer for me or for drivers, learn from my skills or from my mistakes. You do whatever you want about it. Most of people will comment on my videos in a positive way and I appreciate that. To those who have negative things to say, I just have one thing to tell them: Please make uncensored videos of yourself booking loads and let us criticize you :))

When they say 'we gonna put bad review' where they put it? How can we dispute it? I know about freight gaurd report and we get 72 hrs to dispute it
@NeverStopTRKАй бұрын
I honestly had no idea what they meant by that but I assumed they meant freight guard report. Either way I don't need that.
@zahidhussain3081Ай бұрын
@@NeverStopTRK That's harsh, man. Like brokers, carrrier should also have a plaform to do the same to them and report them. One freight gaurd report can put your business 6 months behind. It doesn't matter if it's your mistake, if the report is true or not. That's the dark, harsh truth about trucking industry today.
@user-dw7vt4lf6wАй бұрын
Freight guard represents something only in the heads of small bad rated brokers. Their review won't affect your bussines. Just because somebody wrote something on their stupid website, doesn't mean that nobody gonna work with you.

Has nothing to do with brokers. Stop pulling cheap freight - as these are usually the problematic ones. Educate yourself. Do not be stupid. If you are so much in debt that you can’t take it anymore, there is your life lesson. brokers that have less than 200 past successful loads are not worth touching. Also, if you did not review the contract and signed it anyways, that is no body else’s fault but your own.
@NeverStopTRKАй бұрын
Well, none of these loads were cheap and the rate has nothing to do with the problems that I had. It's actually quite the contrary nowadays. A load that's paying substantially more than the rest of the loads on the loadboard is usually a red flag. Also no one was mentioning any debt here. Where did you get that from? Also, do you think that the brokers are spelling out all these things they did to us out in their contracts? Sorry, but your comment is bunch of nonsense.

I feel your frustration some of these guys are ridicules. I do blame you for booking a load with someone who is on DO NOT BUY. Like you said it's for a reason so STAY AWAY. DAT is manipulating the board. Brokers are relying on DAT. Who sets the rates on DAT? Not the carrier
