Thank You for these videos. Im training to join the FDNY and the last part to get into the academy is The Run. Where I have to run 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes. Right now my best time for 1.5 miles is under 16 minutes. When a few weeks ago it was over 19 minutes. So videos like yours are really helping me because they’re so informative.

Shervin Vs Science lol, great stuff. Good luck with that zone 2 training and asymmetry work. A good way to strengthen your calf ankle and toe is barefoot running or very minimal running. Working up to running in Vibrams, xeros etc may help

u did amazing job with so many videos and testings, wi sh u a speedy recovery! but one think i noticed is, if u realy want improve in running, u need to lose some muscles, i´m a heavy one too, and now with 185lbs i cant do 10k below 45min, but when i had 158, this pace was almost confortable, and i able to did 10k in 39min

Loads of great information here mate. I've been recovering from a calf injury a few weeks ago and my physio also emphasised how important the big toe is and those ankle/calf strengthening exercises

What kind of hardware do I need for the food pressure test or mapping? I really want to improve my technique but with standard gadgets from Garmin etc I can only take a look on heard rate, power and some efficiency information. I need food strike information as well as data when my muscles getting tired. Hope my problem is understandable (I am not a native english speaker;-) )
