Yes this is indeed the best chili ever. I live here in Cincy & shamefully up until 5 yrs ago I didn't know that it was just a regional thing. I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA that other ppl didn't know about it & I was certainly in shock of the ppl that were disgusted by it. I saw comments like "that looks disgusting, who would eat that crap?!" I couldn't believe it. I was offended & found myself explaining how delicious & iconic our chili was. These days I just let ppl talk. Nobody will understand it's importance until they try it.

Cincinnati born and bred here. You can also take that chili meat and make what we call coneys/cheese coneys, what many others call chili dogs. Our coneys can be meat and hotdog bun only, or hotdog with or without mustard, meat, cheese or without, onions or without. Looks delicious!!

I’m really glad to see that Cincinnati Chili is becoming more popular across states. I was so surprised when I saw a Skyline while traveling in Clearwater, FL (from Columbus) a few years back. But this recipe looks even better than what they have.

We actually leave the onion out while cooking because some ppl don't like onion. The onion is always fresh not cooked. Dont like onion, just order a 3-way (spaghetti, chili, and cheese). I alway have a 4-way, spaghetti, chili, onion, and cheese. Ppl who like beans will add the beans to a 4-way to make it a 5-way. Can't forget to top off with tobasco sauce to add a little kick ! ❤LOVE MY SKYLINE !!!!

I absolutely love Cincinnati chili! The flavor profile is very unique and Mediterranean. Most people either love it or hate it. I think you can do a 6-way now and serve it with jalapeños on top! I love making making coney dogs with it too. 🌭You knocked it out of the park with this one my friend! ❤

This is almost exactly like my uncle Elmer’s hot dog sauce. Doesn’t have cloves or cinnamon. Otherwise it’s the same. Cooked the same way. Soooooo good.

Wowww….I’ve never heard of this chilli. Worth a try, even though I L-O-V-E beans(multiple kinds and corn) in mine. Growing up, spaghetti/pasta with chilli was called chillimac.

I thought my family was alone in their like of chili on top of spaghetti. We also like the elbow macaroni. I love the look of this recipe but I have tried cinnamon before and similar flavor combinations and I just can’t go with it, but I like to watch you cook anything just saying ha ha ha. Wow, I’m going to try this chili and if I like it, I might add this to my chili menu and swap out the red chili for this one with the white chili for my next club meeting. You got to do the Steak Chili first. Although both are very different that steak chili is closer to your regular chili. The Cincinnati Chili has a very unique flavor.

I once saw a Cincinnati Chef on TV making this, but I didn't see all of the ingredients he put in it. Seeing your group of ingredients I thought, wow, I have everything but the nasty cocoa. I'm gonna change that attitude. I'll try making it with stinky cocoa because I don't want to miss an awesome flavor.
