As an artist myself I honestly feel like the most meh beat you have is one that rappers would find the most interesting. So many times I’ve come across producers who are literally like “I’m not feeling this beat” but then when I listen to it as an artist it’s like an immediate joining of energy. It’s crazy and i can’t describe it but yeah something to keep in mind

It was good to see you shoot your shot but don't waste your time with these (famous artsits) your beats are worth more than their dms. They'll never reply. Stop giving them your time, focus on your craft. Eventually Timbaland will pick it up and youll reach newer heights. Drake never responds when he should. Doesn't matter how big of an artist you are. RESPOND TO DMS. Their fans should be given the credit.

i think the secret is to reach out to the producers, build a relationship, and then send them beats, etc. that's how i got my first placement
