Preacher Hat is +2% to bartering when BUYING, while the enforcer glasses are +2% to Bartering (both selling and buying)

I got an very early (day 2) water filter mod for my headgear. I've been drinking from natural sources and such since. No worries about hydration! It's a VERY useful mod early game in 1.0.

I love the contrast between this and IzPrebuilt's first 7 day Blood Moon video that also came out today. He decided a few minutes beforehand to just use the Bear-Den POI he cleared earlier and stood on the roof all night talking about XP and Learn-By-Looting.

In the games defence, it took me 3 years to realise you could actually drink water straight from the source. So kinda fair call on TFP for drawing attention to it. But on the other side of the coin, for the first 3 years, I never once died of dehydration from not finding water early game. *NITRO EXPRESS RAID* proceeds to loot every trash pile, concrete stack, nook and cranny he can find. - Loot Goblin confirmed.

I'd put a bunch of double doors where ever they broke through the walls. Keep them closed on regular days and open them for horde nights. Better control on where they're coming from.

Josh I made sure to completely raid Rekt's place in those 2 cabins I found a wrench , a hunting knife and a cooking pot. I see the doors are still closed on your cabins. Wonders what might be in there lmao

You got the magnum book that means you take 5% less damage from wearing a suit, but there aren't suits anymore...so how does that work?

The new Nerd helmet is actually really good for horde nights since they're like Nerdy Glasses but craftable so you don't have to just pray you pick them up somewhere early game. The downside is that the rates are lower before t5 (2%/4%/6%/8%/10%), but the t6 one is a whopping +20% XP which is really nice.

Now that's how my Day 14 horde base was meant to work; the reality was a little less impressive when they turned out to be able to shortcut the path and I got swarmed.

Great vid as always. I'd suggest having barred doors on all 4 sides of the walls to be opened on horde nights now that they have made the holes for you. Could also have your stairs lead to the wall as well with lader or stairs

Since your in agility tree be sure to check all toilets. i swear poop pistols are way more common now i find multiple every day. Keep up fhe great vids getting close to that stun baton series.

fair warning us 3 are 33 on day 29 our last horde night in the pine forest was riddled with ferals, spiders, tons of cops and 15 whites we are in the burnt and all quests and even just random pois are full of ferals and even radiated ones now.. and its the burnt.. so going to winter or wastelands with even t3 weapons is silly unless you like abuse

Here's and idea dig a pit and add a set of stairs so dogs can get out and on days that are not horde night put some frames over it so you can get in and out without any problems

Yeah it's a convenience issue at this point. Just easier to be boiling water, especially since you still pull murky from loot. Eventually it's like, "Oh yeah, I guess I'll grab a filter on my fully kitted out collector since I've got more money than I know what to do with."

@@danielpeck6269 Pretty much a luxury item. I'm at day 21 and I have 2 tricked out collectors: one with a filter and one without. Really all you could ever need unless you're doing a MP server.

Certainly seemed a bit easier than my horde night. Had coppers, dogs and ferals showing up. Burnt biome might have been a poor choice for day 7 base. On a side note though, Navezgane might be an interesting revisit for a series because having traders so far from anywhere makes doing jobs a challenge.

I noticed the same problem when i was agility build, I kept getting all the gun books except the pistol ones so I think its a bug. Then I restarted and went perception and realized how OP it was salvaging skill and gear + an impact driver I bought from a trader + hackers candy = 70k dukes a day in a medium city wrenching cars in 3 hits, buses/trucks/vending machines in 7 hits, and 1 hitting most other appliances then selling everything but the iron (you get like 2-300 iron per car).

Great horde base, and great episode. Your idea to put doors in the walls where they broke in is absolutely brilliant. Add some spikes in front of the doors on the outside, and maybe some electrical wires on the inside to slow them down so you can Molotov them.

I put down a few spikes in the green area around my base, it helps with the zombies, but it kills deer, rabbits and chickens(or others depending on location). Fresh meat almost ever morning. G,day.

I typically carry around one goldenrod tea and just drink from every dirty puddle I can find. It’s a nice little random gamble. Sometimes it makes that goldenrod tea worth 100 hydration.

I did some testing and figured I had a decent horde base design using iron bars and gates where most of the zombie kills would be at the bottom of a slope right in front of me (sledgehammer / shotgun build). It seemed to work fine in testing. But then I screwed it up in my first "Dead is Dead" (just how I like to play, but with mostly default difficulties): I put the corner bar pieces too close to the slope walkway and the zombies apparently thought it was preferable to just ignore my ramp to my small melee hall way with iron gates and went they turned right and beat through the iron bars! Wound up dying. So I restarted, which is cool. I do enjoy some restarting early in a new game version. Saw Glock 9's design and thought: damn that did work incredibly well for a sledegehammer build. Will probably go for something about like he did for my next "1st" horde night in 1.0; hopefully first one I'll survive!

Great series! As for cloth, it is really easy to get. Just grab the curtains in houses and break those big beds covered with cloth.

Just started replaying 7DTD on PC but I grew up with the Legacy Edition back when it first dropped and watching Glock7 and I saw some people mention you Am I the only one that wished they added more firearms into this like maybe some WW2 era weapons as well as other bladed weapons like Katanas, Broadswords and such? Maybe also release a pipe SMG and make it look like the Lutey submachine Gun

On my first horde in 1.0 i got Cops dogs and ferals. I watched everyone else breeze throught it like nothing meanwhile i crapped my shorts and nearly died twice.

Sounds like your level and gamestage were way beyond what it normally is on day 7. Being in desert/snow/wasteland or having increased XP could do it.

Not sure if it is a bug or not, but if you fail the blood moon, you can shoot a deer or chicken and they will start again and come for you as long as the blood moon is up.

2 minutes in and watching you talk about the water (drinking from a lake) don't forget to take vitamins before hand, in A21 you take vitamins and could eat the sandwiches or drink murky water and only lose health not get dysentery.

Something is buggy in 7 days. I just did my 1st bloodmoon hoarde too. I was level 17. The settings were default except for the length of the days......the longest setting. The bloodmoon never stopped until 4am. I went from level 17 to lvl 25. I am aware slow timespan means more zombonies.......not this many more on the first BM hoarde though. Been playing these settings and this game since alpha 14 or so.......

It's not a bug, in 1.0 they've changed it so Horde Night continues spawning new zombies until 4am. Regardless of the number you kill. Prior to this release, if you killed enough in the early game, you could run the Horde night out of zombies and have a nice calm and quiet period where there weren't any spawns anywhere (except inside POIs). But that's gone now.

Maybe because there are definitely still bugs and game crashing mechanics. IMO 1.0 is just A22 to sell console edition.

Yep. Preacher gear is pretty good (especially the gloves), but the hat is lackluster. Enforcer shades are same kind (light armor) and give both buying and selling benefit at the same level (2% per quality level). Ranger Hat (medium armor) gives the same bonus as the Enforcer shades. Stick a cigar in the Ranger Hat and get even better bartering and +1 strength. I keep one for selling/buying but run the Assassin gear for normal POIs/fighting.

Does magnum enforcer 2 even do anything? It requires you to wear a suit... clothes aren't a thing anymore. I think the thing about Learn-by-looting that I can't stand is how muddy the loot pool becomes. You have to spend points in trees you don't care about to get a couple of books to make a few essential things and it fights against your chances of finding the stuff you really want.

The game needs a little work in terms of balance. GNS died in the burnt biome doing a quest from radiated zombies and ferals. Burnt biome!!!! Should be at least snow biome for radiated zoms
