DJ AUDITS

Жыл бұрын

Today we are joined by @PJAudits and @AJAudits as we look at Heygates Ltd, Eagle Roller Mills, Railway Rd, Downham Market PE38 9EP.
We walk around the perimeter and then the Main Man himself comes out.
We try to explain that there is nothing wrong with filming his company.
We speak to a staff member about cleaning a tanker and then take the drone over.
Enjoy!

As soon as auditors start teaming up I feel the quality of the content goes down and it's more like hooligans than a respectable audit. Much rather have you on your own DJ.

I've binged like 30 videos and I agree, you're wayyyy better alone. You don't need backup for 1, and it switches from defence to offence when there's a few of you I feel. PLUS, they're always way more aggressive and defensive than you, you're responsive which keeps you in the right. You let the person speak to capture their reaction.

Agree …. I get the points of the videos and the reasons behind them to show people they have rights ….. however , I do at times question the integrity of these auditors, they complain that people ask what they’re doing , but they have as much right to ask as they do to film , so why moan if they ask 🤷🏼‍♂️ , what do they expect ?? Then surely the best approach would be to answer honestly and tell them it’s for KZfaq and that it’s perfectly legal , whenever that happens I’m ok with it , but sometimes I don’t like the rudeness of these auditors , and to be fair DJ is one of the better ones

Great video to the usual high DJ standards. My only concern is how the interaction looks with three auditors conversing with Mr Heygate. It arguably looked like an ambush and I think this is always a risk with audits with more than one person. I realise people have raised this issue before, but I think with a private business (rather than a police station, say or a council office) there is a risk of audit 'overkill'. It is more how it would look to someone not familiar with auditing and the risk of an own goal has to be considered. Auditors must maintain the moral high-ground and consent of the public. Great work though from DJ, PJ and AJ 🙂👍.

19:45 - DJ knows his lorries 🤩 ! I would agree and suggest the yellow one is a Bedford TL (approx. early 80's)- I think this one is (was) actually a horsebox in it's former glory - the wooden side just about holding on 🤕. The white one looks like a Leyland DAF Roadrunner (possibly F. reg - late 80's). The red one being another DAF or IVECO ?! I'll put my anorak away...🚚

DJ, you might explain to suspicious managers and guards that your KZfaq viewers are mainly big kids that are still fascinated by heavy equipment. Others are interested in old and new industries. Some are researchers in industry-community relations, and some of find all of it quite interesting and entertaining--especially DJ's work.

Mr Heygate wasn't prepared to listen and the Hi-Viz fella must be great for a chat over a pint at the pub. One thing I noticed was a the large stone sunk into the ground on the corner of the old building to prevent wheels from damaging the corner. Used to see them on every corner in the old terraced streets.

The tube that was dipped into the back of the farmer's trailer takes a sample of the wheat. From this they can test for moisture content, gluten content, basically the quality of the grain they are purchasing from the farmer and pay them accordingly.

DJ, I have noticed your videos are not the same when you do them with other people, I know for a fact you would of went straight to the reception and announced yourself like you usually do, then it would of been a much different experience for you, the owner probably would of give you a look around and would of been a bit more welcoming. you tend to drift off from your normal routine and procedures when accompanied. Nothing against PJ and co, or yourself, its just a observation I have come to notice.

Sorry, but this seemed like bating. You are better to work alone as this made it seem like you were ganging up on the old guy. I genuinely felt sorry for Mr Haygates, he was a polite man who rightly felt a bit overwhelmed by 3 guys all talking at once at him. Stay a lone ranger and do it your way DJ as the quality of your content takes a massive nose dive when you go " mob handed"

Agreed C Clare... You are far better yourself DJA ( and it should stay like that )...but with the other 2, it was ott, and Mr Haygates was quite right to question you, and he was polite too, and you 3 just antagonised him more, and should of said thank you and walked away. Not a good audit on this occasion.

I really want to know DJ if grain is washed before it turns into flour. I see dirty exhaust diesel fumes blowing over hay fields along the sides of motorways and I always wonder if it's cleaned before use. It's now one in two that gets cancer so I always think could diesel particulates be part of the problem. I guess is it doesn't get washed because the grain is porous. It's like fish eating plastic particles it can end up on our plates in some form.
@fishingdandan4788

Interesting comment. I don't know if you've seen recent studies but even the fish at the bottom of some of the deepest depth studies have micro plastics inside their bodies. It's everywhere now I'm afraid
@buddysinsight9834

@@fishingdandan4788 cancer rates are flying so I thought I would start looking at modern changes. If you look at a bar chart cancer really started to multiply when microwaves started to be mass sold. Does the radiation leave the food after you have nuked it. I say it’s dangerous. Cancer rates also shot up after the mass sales of dishwashers they never rinse properly leaving poisonous tablet sediment on our drinking glasses etc. Add these to the micro plastics problem and increased diesel particles in our grain and I think we have something. Has anyone ever thought of these things? I forgot one last thing antibiotics and drugs given to cows. My answer is don’t use microwaves to dangerous. Rinse the items before use out of the dishwasher and really cut down red meat. What do you think :) 👍

I'm sorry but auditors sometimes come across as feeling entitled and this is an example. Rather than pointing out what you expect of your host and how you always expect them to be accommodating, how about reviewing your normal approach to make things more accommodating and fair for both parties. How about contacting these companies in advance at the very least of your intentions to visit rather than putting them on the spot and expecting your demands to always be honoured. This was a bit unfair to the old chap.
