There is more, without Megumi Sukuna had no way to bypass Infinity and eventually he would have gotten caught in a DE battle like how it actually happened in the fight. Or remember when gojo expanded his domain faster? He could have purple'd him there but instead tried something not lethal to try and save Megumi later.

What you mentioned about his choich to summon Mahoraga against Haruta, instead of the others. He did it because it was literally the ONLY thing he could do. He had already burnt through his CE in his domain fight against Dagon, which forced him to run on fumes while trying to survive Toji. Who ended up getting a good stab in his side. Mahoragas taming ritual is free, so better to let the Bozo fight a raid boss than letting him run free.

if we think about it sukuna disrespected megumi more then yuji. what did sukuna do the moment megumi was at his lowest? jump him, steal his body and his shoes!!!😭 Man I dont think sukuna has had a single conversation with megumi since he stole his body. atleast with yuji sukuna had SOME good things to say along with the shit talking but megumi -was gut checked -body stolen -CT used better then he ever did -drowned in poison -sister/goal in life used as target practice -used as a meat shield so mahoraga can adapt quicker -had his father figure killed -Probably yeeted along with his CT so sukuna can have his original body back

Megumi had one cool idea, which is "I can force ONE GUY into a summon trial and let the raid boss kill both of us!" And he loved that idea so much that he refuses to stop trying to pull people into a summon trial so the raid boss can kill both of them. Because it'd be SO COOL, but you only get to do it before you die. So gotta make every attempt possible before the series ends.

Megumi is my favorite character. In the fights where he isnt thrown against someone multitudes above his tier he preforms very well in. Yuji gets these conveniently the same tier or slightly above enemies meanwhile you got megumi going against sukuna and toji.

Megumi is and will always be my favorite character in jjk. Most “sasuke” type characters are also arrogant outwardly to deal with their insecurities and/or cruel towards others for similar reasons. But Megumi really is neither. I respect him for that. I think as things stand he will either (a) complete his burning death wish finally, no excuses given other than the guy is broken or (b) survive with a single-minded revenge that will potentially make him into something like a villain and he may just resolve that/redeem himself by self-sacrifice, not just cause he wants to die but also to take down the “biggest bad” whoever that eventually ends up being

I think being in Zenin clan would have made him a stronger sorcerer but a shittier human. Gojo is a bad teacher because most of his students are way below his level, even Yuta was taught more by Miguel than Gojo.

All his students died. Fk Kakashi messed up a lot but he is definately a better teacher and mentor than Gojo. Gojo may be stronger but he definately doesn't have the natural teacher talent, he wanted to raise the next geneartion for this big plan of his but he really was a failure... oh and look his ego and overconfidence to handle sakuna back fired later on, if you think about it who couldn't have seen that coming? His dream ended the moment he decided to say no to Yuji's execution and protect him, not only that but all those people in japan died later too. Mahito wouldn't of been so crazy if Yuji didn't exist for him to bully too. Mahito did all that to just mess with Yuji
