@@boygenius538_8 not necessarily, the knives just aren't made for it. There's a lot of engineering that goes into throwing knives; weight balance, metal compound used, thickness, and the way the blade is cut and shaped.

@@IgnantRacing Nah, you can throw pretty much any knife. Hell, you can use construction nails, scissors, sharpened butter knives and sharpened screwdrivers as throwing knives. It's primarily all on your technique. The problem is the bark, and vertical-grain not end-grain. Without good technique, it's really hard to stick knives into a barked tree on its vertical-grain.

I have a 5.56 AKP with the brown wood and it’s hands down one of my favorite firearms! Just like you said the recoil is irrelevant because there is none lol I was also able to run the 40rd magazine which makes it a lot of fun.. I am also in the market for a ARP that has a side charging bolt and a binary trigger so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know! I’m in Arizona btw #2A

For a throwing knife 8 to 12 in in length. Hold it lightly by the handle stand 16ft away from target. That's the way I've been teaching people since 1975. With experience you can adjust for different distances. Hatchets are 15 ft.

First saw an AK platform in 5.56 around 2009 in the hands of mobile Police units here in the Philippines, basically chinese AK clones known as the AK 2000; used a similar furniture layout i.e. side folding stock. Happened to scrutinize one up close, it was newly issued, but rather has a sketchy surface finish, had a few corroded spots; furthermore, the fit is far from ideal it even has some sharp edges too. Afaik they don't issue those anymore to any of the PNP units.

So many cardinal gun sins in one paragraph. AK or kalashnikov... it’s not an assault rifle. It’s not called a clip it’s called a magazine. A clip is a then piece of metal that you literally clip bullets into, whether that be stripper clips or old m1 garand clips. Magazine have a spring and follower In closed in a housing that pushing cartridges upwards via spring tension into the chamber. Why spell out kalashnikov assault rifle? To sound smart? I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone call it that, not even cnn or liberals that use the word assault rifle to make it scarier than it really is.
