It would anyways only stop 1 50 BMG round and if someone were trying to kill you with 50 BMG they would shoot at you until they are sure you are not moving anymore. They would not shoot only 1 bullet.

I still don't know about living through it. Like that amount of force might still break your neck, it's going to turn you organs to mashed potatoes, like maybe if you are already in a neck brace and have a handful of trauma surgeons like right there...maybe.

I have seen some very interesting demos of Kryron Terminator armor from Borque industries stopping .50 cal. The company and armor just disappeared for some reason. My pet theory is that the stuff was classified by the government. It wasn't even expensive and it also did not send shards of razor sharp ceramic flying everywhere like this one does. If you could track down a sample of that armor it could make for a very good video.

Unless you are outside of a med clinic or minutes away I’m thinking you have very low odds of survival ! Especially paired with the broken ribs, typically if you break a rib it’s not life threatening if it’s a fracture meaning there’s a beak but both ends are still connected! But when there displaced there is jagged edges at each side of the break that can cut arteries and tear tissue or puncture organs! Plus you are likely not strapped to a table when you get hit so that force is going to knock you back and off your feet, you won’t be thinking clear enough to brace yourself for your landing! Between the unknown of what you land on or how far you fall and your rescue not being able to see any physical injuries cause there internal injuries they may likely snatch you up or drag you out of the line of fire increasing the odds of further internal damage!

I'm glad you gave that second plate a fair chance. Shooting the same armor repeatedly with different rounds is cost effective, but generally isn't a fair comparison even for multi-hit rated armor. Appreciate you always providing such entertaining content.

@@ampatriot well a lot of officers and firefighters have it. Like if I have to explain that to you then your lost man. People Dont have to be in a war to have it. And I don’t think he ever brought anything up because he doesn’t want to relive it. I know a decent amount of both service members and officers that have seen a lot and it probably keeps them up at night. Another thing. Never ask someone about there traumatic experiences unless they start saying something to you.

First im impressed by that plate. 2nd i about fell over when he said Scott and put his thumb in the neck. And third, when that head liquefied and in slow motion, that was epic and one of the coolest pieces of film I've ever seen. Just imagine a humans head...mind blown...literally. But I think this is a great advancement in terms of personal protection, and if it's capable of stopping it to this extent, it's only a matter of time before we begin seeing body armor capable of stopping even deadlier things.
