All the ones who havent´t read the TOA books: It was one of the greatest, emotional journeys ever and it has to be read. Apollo become with the last books maybe my favourite character, with in Percy and Nico, and the last book is just phenomenal. Like the charakter development, the old charakters, new places and the final, it´s definitely worthy!! Love the 15 books Rick gave us.

Me thinking about how to pressure him to read the trial of Apollo while having read only the first books 😂😂 (as my excuse I had to wait for the French translation because I was not confident enough in English at that time and fell in a reading slump, and Meg was pretty annoying 🙃)

I had decided to reread the riordanverse books in October 2020. Originally I had PJO, HOO and the first book in TKC. When I was in high school in the past I gave the books to my younger bro to read. He barely read them so I took them back in 2020😂Since then I got the rest of TKC, then ToA, and then the Magnus Chase trilogy. So basically I read the riordanverse from Oct. 2020 until early September 2021😂idk just wanted to share my experience in this long comment🤣

If not, well idk what he'll think of that since he doesn't like him that much. ToA's also like a wrap-up to the Percy Jackson universe where we go to both camps and the background of Meg's really good too. So, yeah. Nice vid :)

Problems I had with HOO: 1. Nico has more character development than everyone that new in HOO with less screen time. 2. Jason does not have a character arc as the main character with arguably most screen time. 3. Old characters OOC (Nico in SON, Percy in MOV etc) 4. God are useless except the stupid setting that a giant must only be killed by a god and a demigod combine power 5. Giants are weak (for example, bane of Neptune get killed by Percy quite easily) 6. Mother of earth is weak ( get defeated within 50 pages, I mean, last boss!! come on!!) 7. Leo character arc does not completed 8. BOO should be 2 books

I agree at many of Juan’s opinions. I think this is in part because I haven’t read the ToA books yet (sorry for the English).

Defiantly read the trials of Apollo books, that are very under-read, and underrated. 👍

I loved hoo, but I definitely preferred trials of apollo and magnus chase

READ THE TRIALS OF APOLLO JUAN! they're better than hoo (in most cases) and feature many interesting characters! also thanks to this series i started to like reyna much more than i did after hoo, so i highly recommend giving it a try!

SPOILERS FOR HOO I would say that my favourite scene from HOO would be when Percy is in Tartarus and he is visiting akhlys and he controls the poison which could have killed him and he uses the poison to his advantage and kills akhlys with the poison. I'm an Apollo daughter and my whole world revolves around Nico di Angelo (guess that's in my blood with Will being my half brother)...so my fav scene is from the blood of Olympus when Nico is basically a shadow himself and he's like if i die i die...it really exposed his loyalty and commitment towards his loved ones....

Is not Weird until you think about the fact that Nico was trapped in time and should in his 80s

I've always liked Leo the least out of the Seven. Yes, I know, very unpopular opinion. It's just because he often felt like a worse copy of Percy to me - another sarcastic guy with sense of humor who throws jokes all the time. I already have that. And like Juan said he was a bit exaggerated and lacked Percy's more balanced charisma. I liked Frank and Jason more (although I do have issues with their developments) because they felt like so different characters with different personalities to me and this gave potential for better interactions (which Rick didn't use)

No one should ever be pressured into reading any of Rick Riordan‘s amazing books! I will not pressure your brother, but I will persuade him! You say you want to see more of camp half blood after the giant war! Well, that’s basically the first book of the trials of Apollo! Of course, this video is seven months old so maybe you’ve already started reading it. 😊 i hope so! In the trials of Apollo we get a lot more Neko, Leo, Grover, Reina, and Rachel in that order. Also a few new characters and a lot more backstory trauma. Sounds fun right?!🙃 please don’t let Leo’s presence in one of the books dissuade you from reading it. It’s all from Apollo‘s point of you and the whole point of seeing these characters again is more to see how they have grown anyway. Especially if you were dissatisfied with the ending of the blood of Olympus, continue the series so you don’t have the blood of Olympus as your closing experience

Unpopular OPINIONS by yours truly (not mean to offend anyone, just thought I'd share after hearing his ranking of the books): 1) The Lost Hero and The Blood of Olympus are really good and are probably my favorite in the HoO series (I love the others but I'm obsessed with the two of them!) 2) Frank is the worst out of the 7. I didn't hate him, don't get me wrong, but I just didn't really enjoy his character. His chapters were my least favorite and I personally think he was kinda boring. 3) Jason is not the worst of the 7 and he's not 2nd worst either (I'm not saying who is my 2nd least favorite because I fear for my life but I'll just say that it's a girl and it's not Annabeth and I love Piper so I wouldn't rank her so low). I really liked him honestly.
