Freshwater Treasure Diving (Vancouver Island, BC)
Fishing tackle, drones, phones, watches and GOLD!
I've been spending lots of time diving around the Nanaimo area. I've exhausted many ocean dives and with the bad visibility I figured I might as well check out some fresh water swimming holes. I go to the Englishmen River, Nanaimo River and Top Bridges regional park on this adventure. I found many lost items and was able to return some of them. Finding and returning peoples stuff can be very rewarding!

Yeah it's pretty amazing! Not sure what it's like this time of year but probably too strong with all the rain to swim. I'll have to try and get to that first pool though. Any idea if there is a way down there?

Englishman is my river...sweet lets watch!!! Thats called Pope's Nose, where everyone jumps off into the Englishman. It is illegal to fish from the upper falls, down to Top Bridge on the Englishman

Check out Peters Lane Park in Maple Bay. I'm an amateur and can't get that deep, but there's lots to see in the shallows upto 35' deep, beyond that I'm not to sure. Been chased out of the water by sea lions there. They weren't aggressive, it was just unexpected and startling

There’s endless spots to explore close to home on the island, some of my favs are haslem creek, bonnel falls, Ammonite falls, Nanaimo river of course- (the tressel) (red gate) and the bor hole is great to see spawning salmon there’s also China creek an hole in the wall in port alberni or the potholes in Cumberland if your ever up that way

I lost a DJI Action 4 camera attached to a black selfie stick at Willows Beach in Victoria. If you start at the roundabout and swim approximately 50 meters straight out towards the island, it should be there. Whoever finds it can keep it. Happy hunting!. ❤❤

Dont dis your content! Lol... i like it. Rivers are my pocket. Cowichan river, skutz falls below the bridge. Marie canyon.. Cowichan is great for treasure.. you need to close your eyes for the trash people leave.. if you go there and like the river i can fire you pins of places for you and your kids where there will be near to knowone there.
