I don't know what's up but I am grateful to KZfaq for recommending me these small channels. Its always relatable to see normal people talk about their normal life instead of big production studios pumping out videos for the sole purpose of money. That said, sorry to hear that you got laid off but its nice to see you're taking it positively and as a learning experience.

Np at all! I always enjoy discovering new channels too! Thanks for watching btw! :D

Thanks for sharing, unfortunately, you were set up for failure. The management was ghosting you probably cuz they knew you weren't a fit from day one. This is not anything on you and everything to do with the work environment you were hired into. They wanted you out by day one and IMO, were quietly firing you.
@tristanleeytАй бұрын
Yeh I kind of got this feeling from my local sales team I was suppose to support. They wanted me out day 1.

Interestingly enough, I have been pushing to become a sales engineer. I would like to be a sales engineer for a bigger company, like Amazon, AWS, or even salesforce. What sold me on pursuing sales engineering was the potential upsides of having a salary, that strong and it being commission based also. I would like to know a little bit more of the nooks and crannies on. What’s your day today was like. Also, I’m interested in your discord community class or coaching. Making that much money off. Discord is insane.

Sales engineering is great, if I could I would still be one as the job could be chill at times with a great salary. And less pressure to sell compared to an AE. Feel free to msg the discord chat and I can answer more specific questions

This video is super relatable! I just got laid off too…one week into my new tech role hahaha. I got hired as a Digital Marketing Account Manager at an ad agency (start up) which was 100% remote. In the first week, I also sat in on zoom calls being like a fly on the wall, trying to learn as much as I can. Anyways, one week rolls around and we get on a sudden important zoom call with the director and they informed us of the bad news that the company isn’t doing well financially, so they’ll have to start doing lay offs temporarily (2-3 months). Ouch! I just got here! Anyways, I was obviously the first on the chopping block. I didn’t receive my 1st week pay yet or offered any severance pay. I’m all good though, I’m still running my own small digital marketing business to lean on for my monthly expenses. I was just excited to try out something new. But I guess this is a sign from the universe telling me it’s not meant to be. Sorry for the blab, I just got laid off last week so it’s still fresh. Thank you for sharing your lay off experience and it’s great you’re doing well! 🙌🏼

What does sales engineer even mean. You can be a salesman. You can be an engineer. I have no idea what a sales engineer means and I've been in the business 40 years.

How much was a month of severance pay out? Was that more than $5K? Does that also include annual leave?

How did u land this job? Whats experience and qualifications one need to be Sales Engineer? Pls advise.
@ericcarson3422 ай бұрын
Keep up the positive attitude. Doesn't seem like a bad company. Probably going thru some turbulent times. They probably wanted to get ahead of the 'curve' and hire you in anticipation of company growth. They gave you severance which is great. You didn't get bummed out which is great. But you're right when one door closes another opens. It's up to us to walk thru.

You need , to file suite, 1 year of work with limited experience. You could have gained a lot better job experience, to get another job, instead you say, around for a year. B at not to mention, that you did nothing for a year, and apply elsewhere, but if it effects your job application, process file suite. You could, have by this point, known everyone in and out, to take your bosses job, but instead you do not even know your position.
