I am also a survivor of trafficking and heavy abuse as a child. I was diagnosed with C-PTSD, and outside of a trigger (actual medical triggers; they have nothing to do with getting mad) I lost 6 months of my life. I struggle a lot with dissociation and memory loss. Even in Canada, it is near impossible to get proper help to resolve trauma that comes from such childhood trauma. Child trafficking survivors are very "thrown to the wolves," so to say. And when you first get a taste of what actual life is like people are not kind, and honestly in my experience enhanced a lot of the fears I had from being trafficked. I am glad you're aware of your disorders and get the help you need. Hopefully one day trafficking survivors are actually offered help and empathized with by society.

I relate to you a lot. I developed both cognitive and "real" empathy later in life (about 23 years old) I'm diagnosed with BPD and ASD (asperger's), which seems kinda similar to you. Although when I used to have weekly meltdowns I was highly distressed about it and did my best to calm down (in my mid and early teens). In my late teens I went of the rails and did a lot of blatantly anti-social things: running away from home, drinking 2 bottles of vodka every couple of days, threatening people etc. Nowadays I still struggle with impulse control and the feeling that I'm right and others are imposing their will on me, but I feel a lot of guilt and shame for my past and like you said, have developed a moral code through learning increased respect and empathy and honestly I do feel tremendous guilt for what I've done. I also had an extremely traumatic childhood, lol, it comes with the territory. People like us switch off at an early age to cope. Much love to you on your continued healing journey ❤

Thank you so much for posting this. I’m currently in the process of trying to figure out my diagnosis (leaning towards Borderline Narcissist) and it’s a very strange experience. I know that my behaviors are destructive not only to others but to myself. I can catch myself in lies but I can’t stop them. I’m very self aware of others minute behaviors and I adjust accordingly, or I “stick with my story” when I’m telling a lie so that eventually they believe me because “how could someone stone-cold lie to me? They’d have to be crazy and I know they aren’t” (what I think people are thinking when I lie) i don’t feel guilty about lying then apologizing, I just feel anxious about being caught. i know how to manipulate and deceive people. All of this came about and/or was exacerbated by an abusive and dismissive mom and pedophile older cousin which led me into severe depression and suicidal ideation which led to hypersexuality which led to being a sex worker which led to the narcissistic supply being built as I used these people for their money. All because my mom didn’t realize that physically pushing a 6 year old little girl out of the house in the middle of the night, not knowing when she was going to come back in, would come with consequences (she did many other things). Lol my parents treat me and talk to me today as if that stuff shouldn’t have affected me. So sad for them, they never get to have the genuine relationship they wished to have.

Really love this longer format of video. I didn’t know you had a KZfaq channel. I’ll be looking forward to your future videos. 😊 also people saying they don’t think you have NPD because they have NPD…having a disorder does not mean you’re qualified to diagnose the disorder. Entitled dudes need to learn the difference in that. Also co-morbid issues like DID or ED or OCD and other neurodivergent on top of things like NPD or ASPD and CPTSD it creates an entirely unique profile. The stigmatization of trauma survivors needing to be the perfect victim is exhausting. Like severe trauma that doesn’t go away or get treatment festers into serious issues. ❤ sending you love amongst all of the hate.

ASPD + NPD + Sadistic tendencies and terrible and abusive behavior in her relationships as she described herself, by definition entails a lack of a CAPACITY for empathy. The vulnerability you are imagining is just that, your imagination, your projection of something in you, that does not actually exist in her. What this is, is a call for volunteers to sacrifice themselves in an attempt to save her. If you fall for that, it's your own narcissism that convinces you that can fix someone else.

Oof. People don't realise that Dissociative Identity Disorder is the worst form of results of psychal trauma. And that NPD and ASP are partly result of severe childhood trauma. Something truly awful happened to you beyond belief. I'm sorry all this happened to you and that nobody treated you properly. You're so vulnerable yet people didn't respect your disabilities. It's sad you went through that. You obviously are imperfect and everyone can be held to some level of accountability, but it's different for everyone, especially if you're mentally ill. I get it's hard to give you treatment, but it's their job. Let alone that these issues are partly result of neurodivergency. ADHD gets heat for being "trendy", when in reality it's debilitating to live with, making you more prone to comorbid disorders as a result. I'm glad you have self-awareness and did treatment. You're strong and it must be super hard. I'd pay for your therapy if I could. I really hope things get better for you soon. You're in the right path, since it's the best for you and also others. Sending you love and positivity. Good luck.

Wait u said u don't feel empathy... Do you mean that you don't experience emotional empathy? Since I remember on tiktok where u said that logically u know when ur partner is crying that u should comfort them. Does that mean you logically understand how someone feels from the way they act, but you cannot emotionally empathise with them (as in if ur partner is sad it makes you sad too)? I keep on asking u questions n stuff, cuz honestly ur content has not only inspired me to dig into a disorder I used to invalidate due to the stigmas around it (thank fuck I woke the fuck up lmao) but learning more abt ur disorder has actually helped me understand my OWN disorder as someone with BPD. Some of the ways you hurt people are similar to how I have hurt people, and learning how you feel and think and what causes u to behave that way, helps me compare it to my own experiences and understand myself better. Just wanna say btw, as a CSA survivor - and SA/rape victim later on into adulthood - I'm glad ur doing ur best to get better. This shit fucks you tf up, and only hammers in your toxic coping mechanisms and defensive responses. I hope you will be able to afford the healthcare you deserve. PDs are a pain in the ass to have, and we all deserve to get better. Hope u have a good day Delta :)

@@Liz-wz8dh to some extent, but not really because malignant narcissists need society to get narcissistic suplay on any means, borderline is more emotionally disrrgulated and construct narcissistic defense to deel with this constant emotional disregulation but can also make maglinant from of it as means to obtain certain ways of emotional projection and emotional regulation through establishing grandiosity upon others weaknesses that can be real provoked or projected. Real malignant narcissist is much less instable emotional state and have very rigid behavioral patterns constantly rationalizing own position in regard to others for obtaining narcissistic suplay on any means with total disregard of how their behavior impact others which can be very similar how borderline behave when is emotionally disrrgulated. It's much more complex mental construct then people tend to think on behalf of common understanding of this conditions. Covert narcissist can collapse and behave as borderline and in prolonged and constant collapsing become malignant narcissist but doesn't behave so obviously emotionally disrrgulated when adopt malignant narcissistic self state, hence why in first place is covert. While overt narcissist in my opinion is early in childhood borderline adopted overt narcissism and can become malignant when rationalization gives him ability to regulate acomulated emotional disregulation through malignant narcissistic action state so no more as just defense of borderline emotional disregulation but as means of action towards obtaining emotional or impuls regulations.

Sam Vaknin recently had a video on how BPD and NPD can interact within a person. What’s scary when you think of it, she can say she’s blaming others etc and self aware but she’s only concerned about the consequences to her, not the damage she’s causing to others.
@svetlicam
@svetlicam 9 күн бұрын
@@chamuuemura5314 that's defense of grandiosity where here emotional regulation became more important than others because of constant disregulation in interaction with others. It's provoked learned patterns of behavior as narcissistic defense because of lack of impulse and emotional control. Narcissists does also blame others, borderline blame first self and in prolonged self blame and various failed tactics for overcoming this self blame and various acting out through psychopathic state borderline learn to project not just emotional states to others but also this self blame so in a way she blame others for reason she blame self is last line if defense because of self destructive self blame. She is aware of this not like narcissist who is not aware because all construct is about elevated sense of self above others, but she because of this awareness constantly decompesate and become even more impulsive and emotionally disregulated and aquire sociopathic calculated behavior and rationalization of own behavior but still without even hint of rationalization of own emotional state.

@@fatymah1138 My daughter had what I now recognize as narcissistic tendencies as a child and teenager. But she wasn't someone with a pathological degree of vulnerable narcissism. I watched without initially knowing what I was watching as her marriage to a vulnerable narcissist changed her. I saw her abandon her vote values just to try to make her relationship work. Those core values were largely what had protected her from her own tendencies in the past. I watched as she first accepted his victim mentality as reality, enabled that victim mentality, and developed a victim mentality of her own. I watched as she lost her empathy, as she began treating perfect strangers in hateful ways, as she lost all ability at first to acknowledge her husband's responsibility for his actions, then lost all willingness to take responsibility for her own actions. Her siblings and I have in various combinations tried to do therapy with her with similar results. Whether in therapy or out her need for validation became a bottomless pit that she was desperate to fill, but no amount of validation would fill it. Do you seriously think we didn't try? There comes a point when continued validation is enabling self victimization.

@@fatymah1138 You might want to consider the possibility that you can't divine the universe from a few brief comments. You have no idea what kind of relationships she had with her family growing up, where her self image issues originated, and what might have aggravated manageable issues into deeply pathological problems. I do. I watched as her relationship with a narcissistic husband pulled her into her own narcissistic pit. I've watched her lose all ability to take moral responsibility for her own actions, transition from a deeply empathetic and spiritual person into an empty husk that no amount of validation can fill. I've seen how she manipulated people and situations, and tried to use therapy as a manipulation tool. When others resisted and insisted on anything resembling mutualism in those sessions rather than a one way, unreciprocated validation firehouse pointing her way things generally went badly. It was her last therapy session with her mother that led to complete estrangement. Now by this anyone following this thread will be able to make a great guess as to your own level of narcissism. I'm sorry, but when i first saw how dark your eyes are my first thought was "whoa, evil." How judgemental of me. Let me just say (this is empathy) i am so sorry for what happened to you. I appreciate your frankness and i wish you all the best with your partner. Ideally, you should work on yourself first before bringing this baggage into a relationship, but if she can help you along the way she's a really special person. However it toes take a toll over time, so i hope she can persist with you long enough to see you become the best person you can be. One last thing: Have you considered BDSM? Sadism can be quite the kink, but only if the partner is into it as well. Otherwise, it's just abuse. I only suggest it because it might be a way of you still getting the thrill you feel from being sadistic without being abusive. Just an idea.

Never been diagnosed with ASPD. I have only seen one video of someone claiming to have ASPD who actually bothered to list the crimes that led to their diagnosis. I've only met a few people who either had or probably had antisocial personality. One was a guy I went to high school with who was charged with torturing and killing cats. Another guy I went to high school with got arrested for molesting his daughter. BPD is more common but NPD and ASPD in women is also common. Having known a few folks with NPD with antisocial traits I can tell you Delta is DEFINITELY more towards the ASPD spectrum. Theres research that says that cluster B goes in and out of the different types. My mother is HPD and she can look like she has full blown NPD when she gets angry however her baseline really isn't as manipulative as someone with full blown NPD or ASPD...Men can and do have BPD as well. Its a complex and very interesting topic.

@@nateo200 it is interesting, for a while. Until you learn several of the commonalities, learn to spot them, and realize the only sane thing to do is to stay away from them and that trying to understand is part of tbe trap. Then all the particular DSM distinctions become essentially irrelevant, meaningless categories in a psychology book written by academics. Just as a lifeguard is trained that a drowning person is likely to drown you when you try to save them, so it is with all of the people that fit into these various categories like NPD and BPD.

@@Brxwn9 a woman is an adult human female, and it's debatable in my opinion whether these people possess all the fundamental characteristics of what we consider to be a human being, like say empathy, or the ability to recognize another person as having their own wants, needs, desires and values that are equally as valid as their own. They certainly to not qualify as what we think of as an adult. So female works for me.
