Noel, like Billy Corgan, writes very good, nice music that people aren't really interested in. If they could still rock (as Oasis in Noel's case) they'd be huge again.

@@seanjones180 I think it's understood that someone's solo following won't be as big as before, so they don't usually complain - but are still treated like a big star despite that, like Noel, which is a bit weird for me. But many bands bemoan their fans' 'lack of approval' or abandonment of them when they change their style, whether it's the Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Garbage,.. any band who has made a big change in their style. Nirvana, of course, were happy to lose fans by changing their style..

You've got to love Noel, he's an absolute rock superstar but is so down to earth. Much less talented people than him let things go to their head and start thinking they are better than everyone else, they forget where they came from and surround themselves with an entourage of yes men / women.

A rudderless ship with a charismatic front man but with limited song writing ability between them and no real drive !! Far better players than him? That's a bit harsh and I don't particularly like him. He's incredibly composed and controlled on the ball. As good as David Silva in that regard. Silva's mind is probably just a fraction quicker. That's the only difference. Although Grealish is a bit bigger and stronger.

I remember Oasis back in the 90s as I was doing a school project on the Sahara desert & about water holes hence Oasis. I was also good at History & remember going to Hastings on a school trip, where I lost my glasses. I did get a new pair but took nearly a month & a friend had to help me get about. She turned out to be a lesbian

I feel like Noel is falling into the same rut as his idols Johnny Marr and Paul Weller who have become irrelevant in todays music scene, and churn out album after album of mediocrity that nobody knows or cares about except a tiny group of hardcore fans, remembered by the masses only for the songs they want to move on from.

I'm really put off the Oasis reunion thing now its just so repetetive and depressing. Noels latest album is absolutely fantastic and I wish a single interview could just be about that or i could go a day without some bogus rumour or dig or counter dig, Liam in particular because I dont rate his latest music at all and I feel without him antagonising Noels happy to just keep it in the past and any reunion talk would be about fans loving the band rather than rubbish tabiod family feud crap. Liams fans are worse too, they go on all the Noel stuff to slag him off but it rarely happens the other way round. Put it in the bin, Oasis was so positive and life affirming but this is just crap.
