Depends on what the charges are, really. If it was for using PEDs or paying off officials, then it's indefensible. If it's for breaking unfair rules that shouldn't be there in the first place, like it is, then it shouldn't make a difference to anyone

I have a crazy solution. The FA/PL/UEFA/FIFA to give a 10 year FFP free period/ amnesty in which any club in the PL (and/or the rest of the world) can spend whatever they want to spend so as to give every club the same opportunity as City, Chelsea and now Newcastle (over the next 10yrs) then impose a new set of rules with salary caps like they have in other sports in the US and Australia etc. Otherwise this crap will go on forever and will get much worse. If my club won the premiership on the back of 115 charges it would feel like a bit of a damp squid. City need to clear up these charges otherwise it just drags on and on. The fact they are delaying tells me they are guilty.

the one simple fact they are not talking about is man city does not have the fan base for this level of success unlike man utd that can spend that big money because they bring in big money , Man city can only spend this amount cause they use the revenue from over priced sponsorships paid by the very people that own the club to balance the books, it must be costing them billions to keep man city a float its just a bottomless pit of money if the owners were to leave the club would be in league 1 again if it would even still exist

are you a complete simpleton? man city has had one of the biggest fan bases in english football throughout the history of the game, they still hold the record for the highest attendance in english football outside of wembley, and fyi, they spent 1 season in league 1 in 130 years, and only 5 other clubs have spent longer in the top division of english football than city, so maybe you should do some research before you make any more ridiculous comments

It’s all very hollow Team plays in the third tier of English football Don’t win anything for almost 40 years Get taken over by a oil rich state Buy success …..not exactly a football story like the Busby babes , the class of 92 .
