This one got me like no other. There’s no scary monster, no gruesome bloody messes, no miraculously surviving some monster that should have killed them. This was just downright creepy. I think it also helps that the characters are given more of a backstory and personality. One thing’s for sure, this was a damn good story. Also, is it just me, or is your narration overall more somber in this one than in many others? If so, I like it a lot, really helps keep you immersed in the story.

Being the father of a six-year-old boy, this story is stirring-up the things I fear most in life: my boy coming to harm or losing him while being helpless to do something about it. That's what's making it a truly terrifying but very entertaining story for me. Thanks Mr. Lighthouse!

Wow. I mean, woah, dude. A truly terrifying story, left me with creeping anxiety, a knawing, gut-twisting dread at the feeling of receiving such news, a real panic rising, makes my heart race. Though it doesn't seem like it, these are high compliments, sir. You are the master

Excellent work as always. Even with what sounds like a pretty brutal cold!! You have the best channel of this type on the platform, in my humble opinion. Thank you for all that you do.

Is it possibly time paradoxical and somehow the events are reoccurring but in different rooms on different floors ? We never know what the full situation was of the neighbor upstairs prior to his passing except he was “unemployed”. Not only that, but the events of the noise that they heard upstairs. The “Running around, slamming everything” which explains why the emphasis on “its a two bedroom apartment, is he running back and fourth?” No. The slamming he heard, was when the dad first started looking for Nathan prior to and after noticing his son disappeared, the screaming could be his own “rambling” he’s hearing and the running isn’t from one bed room to the other, it’s him running through the back rooms. The Deceased neighbor was found where? In the middle of the hallway. Same place the Dad emerged out of the Back Rooms from prior to passing out. Could that also be why he felt uncomfortable when he suddenly found his feet crossing the threshold of the door? Also, the residents on the third floor prior to vacancy. Was a Single Mother, and a Daughter. Same Circumstances, different sex’s but their fate played out the in the same loop? I’m guessing which is the dead woman’s body he comes across (himself) in the back rooms. Also the “teacher” fellow across from the mother who they found in her apartment? Also was “Unemployed”. Such weird coincides. Little theory here but. Is it possible that the narrator, being the dad of the story and the mother. Did somehow hurt their child already? And maybe Nathan has passed due to their abuse and this is his personal purgatory? Through out the story the father seems to admit to, some sort of anger issue. What the mother meant about his “dead end ways.” Who knows, but he’s also said she’s an alcoholic in her own right. She’s suddenly out of the picture, and the father despite supposedly being the main care taker. Doesn’t seem parental at all, or. It seems like he’s speaking of a reflection of a time he USED to be father, than the fact that is currently is. Also he describes his son as “Skinny” “he seemed to get smaller in my arms.” “He slumpt on my shoulder.” Could that explain the reason his son seems so scared of him and apologizes frequently? Constant self blaming isn’t normal at 6yrs old. It stems from trauma 😢 What if he and the mother direct or indirectly, caused their son to die and this “Apartment” is his personal hell. Sort of like Silent Hill.
