I just started One Piece a few days ago and not gonna lie, it's actually amazing. Every episode so far has hooked me to watch more. Got to episode 50. Obviously not even close to 1000 but it's honestly so enjoyable and fun to watch. Just the characters, plot, and comedy along with it's cartoonish style is what I love about this show so far. I guess I'll see you guys in Wano which guessing from the replies, that's the current arc.

Onepiece is hella fire, from the op, the foreshadows, epic fights, hype, comedy, got em all. If you binge watch onepiece you Will probably watched all in 1-2 months

12:04 EVERY character is a comedic relief character, and they are all also emotional and epic characters too, and it all works. It's part of what makes One Piece so good. They can say and do a large array of things and it will still fit with their character. They actually seem like real people.

I told myself I'd never watch One Piece, then a year ago I started in June. Now, I'm at Whole Cake Island. The thing is, you don't need to binge it. Take your time with it, you'll enjoy it better. The thing people forget is YOU DO NOT have to rush yourself! Just be apart of the crew!

Watching this makes me realize how much I am asking of people when I tell them to watch all of one piece. It is hard to believe that I sat down and watched from 1-1017 in 3 months. And somehow that Katakuri fight still felt long with the 1 second clips

As a former Naruto is my favorite anime guy, One Piece easily surpassed it and continues to be number 1 in my opinion! The sooner you react to it the better, just gotta push through the beginning arcs for some people.

i started to watch again around EP520 (for lore reasons a good break moment) and havent seen much in YEARS basically around the time that EP aired in my country. now in a few months i am at around 920 because it reignited me for this banger of a show edit: the "villains playing a big role later" or whatever, everything has a big role later, like literally, there are things around EP30-40 that come up 800 Episodes later, something happens in 300 something that has a HUUGE payoff in the 800s etc

It's One Piece. EVERY character is comedy relief.

I'll say it again, check out One Pace (no typo). It fixes the pacing issues so you will be caught up in half the time. EDIT: its basically a super good edit removing all the fluff and the fillers. Some arcs are really slow but some are not as bad. Honestly they did a great job merging episode and the music doesn't even get cut, its timed perfectly.

If you like mangas then I recommend reading that over watching the anime. But even with the anime's many flaws, it still gives you an amazing experience. And thousand of people has watched just the anime and absolutely loves One Piece. The story and characters really are something else.

You should react to The Breath Taking World of One Piece made by Straw Hat V if you haven't already it, really portrays the world the creator made in a beautiful way. That video alone made a lot of people want to start one piece.

To truly gain the experience of watching this. You have to watch the anime to episode 1000. Not just watch this and then the anime. I watched this and it hit home. I felt nostalgia back to being 9 and thinking smoker, ace and croc were top tier fighters. It made me remember back to sabaody and the actual fear I felt for the crew. So many great memories that have helped me make it through hard times. It’s an amazing show

Would definitely recommend onepiece over any anime. I have been watching anime for nearly 20 years and it is by far the best one i've seen so far. People always complain about how long it is but fail to notice that it's so good that once you get hooked you FLY through those episodes extremely quickly. I've watched every episode 3 times all the way up to dressrosa arc. Just stopped there because that is as far as the episodes were at the time.

I love how he was mentioning dragonball here and there but he missed Goku in one of the episode clip. It was a collab episode btw.

I literally know every episode inside out like every second... I started watching One Piece from the very first episode back in the early 2000s in free tv. Most of the episodes I've only seen once. I remembered every little detail. It's just One Piece that manages to do that. As soon as it starts my brain switches to full laser engraving titanium. It just get's burned straight into not even my long-term memory but the very core of my being.

About One Piece, it talks about many things like corruption, racism, tyranny, etc. But when they portray it its not that dark especially if the one watching is still young and knows only a little about those stuff they just enjoy it until they rewatch it when they're old enough to know about those dark stuff, like me i rewatched it when i was old enough, and i though to my self "well i never remember this anime was dark🙁" especially marineford😭. Overall for me watching/reading One Piece was the one of biggest and greatest decisions i made in my intire life.

We don’t just watch their adventures, One Piece is styled in a way that it feels almost like the viewer is part of the strawhats crew and living through the adventure alongside everyone, a feeling that all OP fans will agree that they feel.

The one guy was cut in half, but not in the normal means. There is a devil fruit ability that is very quirky and versetile. It can disassemble things, cut things etc. without damaging something. So for example, he can cut your head off and you are still alive. Everything still functions normaly.

Toriko(The blue haired guy) is from a different series and had a crossover with one piece I think 3 times and dragonball once.
